I'm very proud of Sandeul, he's only 25 years old, he still has a lot to improve, but I know Dongha is better, has more experience and a more trained voice. Thanks for including Sandeul, despite his great voice, they almost never take it into account 💕
Both of them are epic tenors, but for me it's Jung DongHa, look : First E4 : Sandeul Second E4 : Jung DongHa First F4 : Tie Second F4 : Sandeul First F#4 : Jung DongHa Second F#4 : Jung DongHa Third F#4 : Jung DongHa First G4 : Sandeul Second G4 : Sandeul Third G4 : Jung DongHa First G#4 : Jung DongHa! OMG... Second G#4 : Jung DongHa Third G#4 : Jung DongHa First A4 : Sandeul! Amazing... Second A4 : Sandeul Third A4 : Jung DongHa First Bb4 : Jung DongHa Second Bb4 : Sandeul Third Bb4 : Tie Fourth Bb4 : Sandeul First B4 : Jung DongHa Second B4 : Jung DongHa Third B4 : Sandeul The outro of Jung DongHa is also amazing! Look at SoHyang's reaction
Jung Dong Ha!!! His notes are more powerful and resonant to my ears. I personally like Sandeul more though as like a bias. Also after F#4 Dong Ha goes crazy. Sandeul is still a really good singer! One of the best male idols.
Dong ha is just better in most registers he one of the best in Korea right now better than park hyoshin because of his lower and higher range but his belting is also amazing
I wish Park Hyoshin participates in IS2 and KoMS in the future. We seriously need more of him. Hahaha. Completely out of topic but I prefer Jung Dongha. I heard he's a Full-lyric?
What I love from them both is they both have a a quite aggressive approach to a song.Even though they may sound a bit strained sometimes, but that give powers n emotions to the songs.I don’t like when a singer sing in a too balanced and safe way.Of course,JDH is more mature technically, but Sandeul is amazing too.
Sin duda ambas grandes voces eso ni dudarlo . Pero yo me quedo Dong ha su calidad y logra yo se lo más profundo de los sentimientos con sus interpretaciones gran intérprete😉💓
they are my bias but anyway jung dong ha is better they have almost the same resonance, support note, but for some reason I think JDH are more consistent even he's not in his youth anymore
It is not about the highnote but i choose Sandeul.. Why? It is because he really caught my heart whatever song he was singing.. You know i feel him i mean A lot of emotions is there trying to open my heart to listen.. And everytime i listen to him.. I dont know but it makes me feel better.. I just love his voice, his personality I love Sandeul...
is it good that males can belt f4, f#4, g4, g#4, A4, and A#4 in clear chest voice, and are those notes good? I am curious cuz it took me about 4 months to learn to sing them...
This video is kinda bias as you are using older videos of sandeul. He has much more better videos than this that shows off his singing. The ones you showed here is on sandeul are kinda short and not of good audio quality. But for me and my family we will choose sandeul
I have that much ease until g#4 but strain higher no matter what, I reduce tongue tension and jaw tension but I’m still straining and I don’t hit above A4 consistently, am is baritone?
lloyd1185 and you can mix a B4 and you're complaining ? I can not sustain an A4 more than 3 sec, with sky high larynx, jaw tension, throaty ...... well, all the stuff you want to avoid
Tamara Oktivani first of all, Park Hyo Shin is Full Lyric and Naul is Light Lyric Both have different fach and have their own distinctive style (Impeccable Agility for Naul and Great Stamina for PHS) Second of all, I don't think it's fair if you put a Tenor and Baritone within Vocal Battle in the same range
Dong Ha is a better vocalist overall, but I really don't hear fantastic support out of either of them A4 and up. I'm not familiar enough with Sandeul to speak to his consistency, but I'm always surprised by how highly Dong Ha is rated when his upper mix just isn't that good.
He does have a nice head voice in the lower part of his upper range, but it gets very thin and strained the higher he goes. A majority of his head voice is this way (judging from the few performances I've seen and his range video here on RU-vid). He doesn't produce large resonance in his upper mix or in his head voice, though. He's a great vocalist, for sure, but I don't really think he's as "elite" as some people make him out to be.
KoreanMusicSubs well, he is a lyric voice, he doesn't supposed to have large resonance. And he supports his head voice up to A5, which is very high. And his low notes are better than Sandeul A2 at most, which is very low too.
Lyric voices can have large resonance. What I mean is that many of his mixed notes are strained or placed in the throat, at least A4 and above. Even supported notes are often not as free as they could be because of how chesty he is. I've only heard one supported A5 from him, and I've heard him strained notes as low as E5/F5, so I don't really know how consistent he is there. I'm not saying he's not, just that I haven't heard it. Yes, I agree he's better than Sandeul. lol
