@@britzel71 I feel the same. Maybe some people get their happiness by being rude to others. I just tend to ignore their rudeness, it says more about them than me, lol. Her missing plants also made me wonder if she stopped. I was looking forward to seeing how much they had grown.

@@patlewis7591 Having tiny houses at this price defeats the purpose of going tiny (a lot of the time) in my opinion. While I'm sure 120k is reasonable for people who live in a big metro area, I could buy a mansion for that price in my area. To me, tinies should be affordable.

You could such as a new or nearly new ram, Chevy, or Ford. However, check the towing capacity and payload of the truck you look at to confirm. The dually gives you peace of mind and move stability with towing.

No, it's not... It's just something you don't see the value in but that doesn't make it over priced... There are things people pay for that go directly to their quality of life, physical and mental health, what they actually get out of it, and whether or not it even will work for their needs. While things like living off-grid is not going to be free, that's just reality... There will always be a big up front cost to going off-grid unless you can go back to nature and live without modern technology... There are always trade offs and everyone has to decide for themselves what is worth it... Besides, none of this is a new trend... People have been living in small to tiny homes for most of human history. Even RV's can range up to over $3 million and they're not meant to last or effect as much of your life as a home does... Details like custom double to triple paned windows can raise the cost of just the windows from a few hundred to thousands each on up to even over $10K for really high end window features like movable glass walls, floor to ceiling, etc. But that allows a trade off on how extreme a climate the home can be in and still be comfortable and energy efficient, how much natural light, and what living style options can be supported... Other things like ERV/HRV allow ventilation while keeping the home air tight and can allow filtering of air to make it healthier to breath than even outside air and help keep exposure to VoCs and other things low... But such systems add to the cost of the home... Again, everything has trade offs... Don't confuse not understanding other people's choices with it being wrong/insane as it may just be what's best for them but for someone else something completely different can be what's best and people should not have to treat housing like a competition when it's about their lives! If what they paid for doesn't benefit your life then just don't pay for what they paid for and get something else instead... That's the point of having choices and being able to control what you pay for!

Whatever way your idea of living tiny looks like, you can pursue that. There's lots of different paths and ways to go, so it's a personal outcome and that's what we suggest! Live tiny on your own terms.
