Brandon drove over an hour to come get his beard done. What I thought was going to be just a shape up, turned into a big transformation and faded beard. I got some comments on my last video about how it wasn't a faded beard so here ya go!

Hey Sean I’m looking at getting year one fundamentals of the Josh OP courses. It includes the DFS formula. Would you say it speeds up someone’s cuts? I am coming up on a year at the shop and my cuts still take 1 hour or more and I use what I know of the DFS from what I’ve seen in videos but I get the feeling I’m not doing it right. I need to get faster or I’ll go broke. People come in with slightly longer hair and I panic. Hoping it helps with efficiency, what do you think?

Aye bro I just wanted to say I am a member of the OP academy and I'll say this. The DFS formula isn't the fastest way to cut but I think it's the perfect ratio of speed and quality. Essentially the fastest way to cut without skimping on quality. If you're still taking an hour plus on a cut, I think you would greatly benefit from buying the course. It'll also help you feel way more confident with longer hair.

@@Barberingbyethan Thanks for that man. I bought the course yesterday and I just started. I feel better about the purchase now. I work with someone who used to work at great clips and I cannot and will not do a 15 min haircut like they do. I can’t allow myself to do a bad job if I can help it, which is why I take so long. I appreciate your reply 🙏🏽

@@Barberingbyethan Hey man I wanted to report back, I bought the course and marathoned most of it. I’m in Week 16 now with all the live tutorials. I was lost on some things and had a bunch of questions and I asked the academy via email for some clarity. Josh OP himself messaged me back on IG. Apologized for not answering quicker cause he was at the CT Expo. I was pretty blown away at that. It seems just as promising as I thought it was gonna be and I couldn’t be happier I made the purchase. Thanks for the advice, I’m glad I took it and bought the course.
