After almost getting cancelled for bad weather, we got a break in the storms and were able to run 25 miles offshore into 1500 feet of water and catch some of the most delicious fish in the sea!
The water is beautiful there!! Awesome fishing! Glad that shark didn't get the tuna!! They will be good eating! You got a workout on the last one! Thank you for sharing my friend!
Fishing like that compared to bass and bluegill will wear you out. I caught a nice bull shark couple years ago and i wasn't use to fish that strong. My whole body was worn out fighting that thing.
I remember many years ago, the Mississippi wasn’t flowing much and the blue water pushed right up to the jetties and the bait did too. We were fishing for redfish and caught a 10lb Blackfin on a crank bait. All the offshore guys were right out of the jetties fishing in 60ft of water hammering tuna.
@@thecedarridgechronicles It’s wild when that happens. I want to go back when that’s happening and catch a limit of nice yellows. We have to run 120+ miles here. Kevin and crew are good guys and they are always on the fish. They will bust their butts to keep people on the fish.
@@mdv2043 that would make sense. Didn’t even think about that. My cousin’s 24 foot Rabalo does, I don’t know why I was thinking a 42 foot Freeman wouldn’t
@thecedarridgechronicles ya those freeman's are really nice they have on board ballest tanks, a head, and crazy in deck storage. I like them but I sure like the ac on my sportfish.
