I cannot comprehend the immense talent you have when it comes to your creations, I could never praise your work enough! I'm not amazing at the game, still, I've always put a hefty amount of time and effort into my builds and so when I see this I'm beyond impressed and know it's worth it to be patient and improve. I know that's it's not as easy as you make it look so thank you for all the effort you put into these videos because they're extremely inspiring and everything is turning out spectacularly! (Low key wish you could design a zoo in real life with no limits, I'd pay any amount to visit!)
Hi im a new viewer i look forward to Saturday's now just so i can see the zoo expand a lil more :) ur series has me in love with planet zoo i cant wait to play it in the future
Incredible work once again. So glad I discovered your channel but a part of me wishes I found it a bit later so I could binge multiple episodes in a go. Needless to say I can't get enough.
Wow this is stunning!! Definitely inspired me. I love the way you sink the barriers into the design of the enclosure so that they look thoughtfully designed. Never thought to put pieces on the top of glass barriers so they're not just an ugly sheet of glass.
I watch for the amazing quality of your work, but I'd gladly watch a series of just these great tips as well. You could definitely cut them out and put into a series of it's own later on, for those that don't expect to find such great and precise tips in a regular build video ^^ (I know I'll be rewatching them all if you do 😅)
Excellent, I'm gonna try and get them together this week. I'll be posting them as shorts and putting them in a playlist so it's easy to get toi the one you need.
Very good content, I love this San Bernardino series. People should know this amazing channel!! Maybe you can try youtube shorts, so more people will come to your channel.
Kind of discouraging, looks like we are not playing the same game, nice habitat tho ! 😂 Any tips on how to learn to plan and build on multiple land levels ?
Haha thanks! I think the only way to learn this game (unless you have previous experience as an architect/zoo designer) is to practice. Try finding real life zoo exhibits you like and recreating them. That’s how I learned. Also join a discord and learn from the masters
A tips to make the path much more decorated! Use pots in the middle of the paths and use oil palms in the pots. You gonna get a realy nice wibe from it! Love from sweden!!!
@@ZSHplays Same here, love enter sandman of metallica, i do also like eurovision songs, but this year it was not so good music in sweden. I can't wait for the next episode!
I used to be like eh i like cesar creates more but now i changed my mind he is kinda annoying but has the same skills as you i make zoos and they dont really look good i like watching your videos for refrences
Incredible Giant Otter exhibit! Giving me more motivation to make better exhibits for my own zoos. Btw, where do you put Keeper Huts at? I could never find really good spot to put them at.
Amazing build as always. Its funny you started the episode with what i was wondering nat the end of the last one. What happens if a capuchin falls into the caiman area lol
Hi! I just found your channel today and I’m binge watching whilst playing PZ 😂 please please please… can you show how you connected the path for the underwater viewing? 😢mine are always a MESS and I just can’t get it to connect back to normal height 😭 help me obi
I do wish you'd give us a longer look at the finished exhibit so we can really see well how it turned out in the end but man the way you used the roots to give the riverbed this rough texture is so cool
I found in my previous series that people started to switch off after the first few end-cinematics so I've consciously kept them shorter in SBZ. There will be a full-length tour of each area when it's finished though so I promise you will see loads more of each habitat!
I had to see this video again! :-) I have a question. Are you using any kind of mods? Many people are using Freebuild for example. I don´t use any mods myself. I play the game like Frontier intended it to be played :-)
Hi I’ve just found your channel and was wondering where you’ve been hiding the content is just perfect and what I’ve been looking to find from planet zoo videos for years. Really enjoyed catching up with Tekton and lucky enough to catch the start of this series. Was just wondering what you use to plan your zoos or do you just do it all in the game?
Thanks Joshua! I don't really plan the whole zoo before I start, it's too overwhelming. I tend to roughly plan each area and each habitat just sketching it out on my iPad. For Tekton I would draw each habitat first but with San Bernardino everything is more organic and I'm not good enough at drawing!
This looks great! I was trying to find out how to create a good layout of a zoo, and was wondering if anyone had some ideas? I feel like my zoos end up really square and blocky and I don't quite know how to make it more fluid.
Layout is probably my weakest point. I found it very helpful in Tekton Zoo to have a big circular plaza right after the entrance with a habitat in the middle and then build 4 areas around it almost like a pie chart. Helps to focus it and keep it simple without being square.
Your videos have inspired me to try and do better with making things look nice and realistic. It’s so pretty and you’ve shown that it is possible and it takes practice to get good at- so thank you for spiking my lost creativity
I usually place the tunnel enrichment item underwater even if the animal can't use it because they look great underwater. But you take underwater to the next level 😂
Holy shit! Your designs and your way of building blows me away every time! Got damn that peephole was amazing! I really hope i can reach your level of designing one day! 🙂I think i have been playing PZ for 138 hours, soooo i guess there is a long way becoming a master habitat builder! :-)
Oh yes indeed. Penguins are one of my favourite animals to build for, I had both species in Tekton Zoo and will definitely have at least one of them here!
@@ZSHplays when we get emperor penguins(and I’m seriously praying to God we get emperor penguins because they’re much more deserving to be in the game over the ripoff king penguins) would you put them in?
@@megakoopa-pokemonandmore6152 As far as I'm aware there are no Emperor Penguins in zoos. Their lifestyle and diet means they're not suitable for holding so I don't think Frontier will be adding them! They are very cool though.
@@megakoopa-pokemonandmore6152 Interesting! Just checked and you are right! Thanks for the headsup. If they add them into PZ I'll certainly try and find a home for them in SBZ, they are amazing birds!
Hmm... personally wouldve loved to see a much wilder land area for the otters. A steeper bank, roots hanging over into the water where the otters can climb in and out of the water when they feel more playfull. Or maybe I'm just spoiled with the small but beautiful otter habitat my local zoo has. That being said... stunning as always! For some reason I love the little peak-through the most. It has that perfect natural yet manmade feel and it's also got that true zoo feeling of all these random peaking holes into the habitats (from where you'll never see the animals, but still like to watch)
@@ZSHplays It's a shame we can't comment with pictures. I could show you what I mean. But I think you know what I mean... and if you dont add anything. It's still a great habitat. I'm looking forward to the next video as always
Completely agree. You’re incredibly talented in creating realistic and unique foliage, watching you make ground covers and back wall plants is like watching flowers bloom. I don’t mean to provide unsolicited feedback, but I feel like the only weak link is the mud wall. For some reason my brain picks out the pattern at the top, where it’s a little thicker. Have you considered rotating them 180° or is the bottom ugly? The mud wall is literally the *only* shape I can see in your builds where I notice pasting. Everything else is so beautiful, just thought I’d mention it since it’s the only thing :)
@@redfinpaladin Thanks! The mudwalls are designed to be used the way I use them, the backsides and bottoms don't look great. Maybe I'll add a few rocks here and there to break it up a bit?
@@ZSHplays makes sense, no question they look good they way you use them! But yeah, maybe some extra texture like you do to the floors could do it for me haha. Thanks for the reply and great video!
I have to edit them manually everytime! It drives me mad, and you can't edit until hours after you've uploaded by which time I've forgotten and it's calling me Zeta Sage 😆
