Much like with other places, it depends a lot on the area of the country your town is located in, as well as the time of day. By their nature, most thrift stores can't really exist in places with a lot of foot-traffic. Since all of them except one - The Reading Horse from episode 2 - are charity shops with volunteer workers, there's no real reason for them to be in the hyper merchant areas :) I prefer to not have people in the shots, cause that way I don't have to spend time blurring out faces. I also prefer to live in places with lower populations, I'm not one for urban concentrations :) I plan on getting a GoPro or smth similar to outfit to my bike, so I can get some more dynamic travel footage.
