The little loops on the shoulder straps are called MOLLE straps. They are meant to attach lightweight pieces of gear such as carabiners, gear pouches, utility knife, flashlights, etc. The zipper pocket on the bottom is primarily meant to hold a rain cover which I believe comes with the photo bundle. Overall I like this bag for its looks and its weather resistance, but for photography I think it needs better access to the main compartments. I'd prefer at least bigger side access.
I just found this channel and I love it, you’re so fun to watch! Seriously, you have made me excited about traveling again thanks so much for that. I also purchased a few items using your links so there’s that :)
Bro, your content is amazing. I never feel a dull moment in your video :). I already own a Peak design every-day 30 L and every-day sling v1 5L, I could relate to almost all of the points made by you in those videos. Also, this video is amazing, just ordered this backpack in 31L (Black) after being convinced by you that it is a good pack (Had my eyes on it for a long time). However, I feel your channel is highly underrated, time to advertise yourself more. Love from India.
Love my PRVKE 31 Liter. Not sure what the small loops on shoulder straps are. The bigger stretchy ones tho hold lens caps. I’m satisfied with it for sure. I like you’re reviews, the swearing doesn’t bother me and I find it amusing. That’s coming from a “professional photographer”. Lol
hey...love the review. I am own both PD everyday backpack and Prvke for almost a year, and i prefer Prvke rather than PD. Prvke is a very versatile bag, with mini camera cube and camera cube in it, I could store my whole camera needs. 2-4 days trip, I usually store my camera with mini camera cube and cloth for the rest of the compartment and so on. Pair the front pocket with Coccon Grid it, will give u a lot more organization..
Thanks so much for the love! I agree - I also prefer the PRVKE to the PD everyday backpack. And thanks for showing me the Grid-it. Never seen it before but it looks awesome!
Do you think the wandrd prvke could be used for strictly edc with no camera gear. I realize you use it for some camera gear but have you ever used the prvke with no camera just edc stuff??
@@Paa375 if you look at this bag for edc, you might skip this bag. It lacks organizer, you might want to look at Wandrd duo daypack or Modern dayfarer. I personally use this bag for photography and modern dayfarer as edc bag.
I suspect the durability of the zipper of back cover, since the shoulder straps connect to back cover and the whole weight hang to back cover by the zipper.
Great detailed overview. Also, I would say a con of the bag would be the weight. With all the accessories it's almost 5lbs. I'm not looking at it for camera storage though more for one bag travel due to it's water resistant qualities. Thanks again.
Cool review, but for my opinion it is not fully reviewed. Prvke has a options with photo cube and pro photo cube. Classic photo cube use half of space and pro version use all of it. Pocket on the bottom of backpack is used for the rain cover for backpack. Prvke also has a removable waist strap, and couple of cool straps that are one of the best features. If you do not want to put down your bag but need an access to it outdoor, you attach those straps inside of a bag and it prevent rear side to open more than 90°. So you just put on backpack on your front side, open a rear compartment and Prvke transforms into a "table" so all of its contact is visible and easy to access, you have a table if you need to change lens or make a sandwich 😂 . And those loops on shoulder straps are called daisy chains. You can strap almost anything to them. I have a few cons of the backpack. Straps are not attached to backpack but to rear part. In strong rain conditions hidden pocket is always unprotected from water even if you have rain cover on. But besides that it is my all time favourite backpack. 31l version with classic photo cube is enough for me to take all stuff I need for 2-3 day trip and my camera with 1-2 lenses, and all I need for photo editing, and still there are few extra L in roll top for jacket if it is too warm outside. 😏💪
And one fun thing I heard, I do not know if it is true or not but it makes sense. Wandrd a manufacturer of Prvke is "Wondered" but they needed 10 000$ for that domain, so they chipped off two e and Wandrd was only 10$ so they saved a lot of money. And from than point urban legend says that Wandrd use this sistem as their brand identity and from word "Provoke" was born PRVKE backpack. 😂😂😂 Doesn't know if it is true but if it is.... its pure f...g genius idea.
I have been looking at this backpack and I have to say this review is amazing, I wished this was the first video RU-vid recommend to me. This was so easy to watch and I loved how you suggested the pros-cons and compared features it has to other companies. Everything you said about the backpack was the reasons I decided to buy it. Thank you again.
The bag is actually a play on their company name of “wandrd” they originally were named “wandered” but the domain name was too expensive. So they changed to wandrd. So provoke saying in the same vein is prvrke. Kinda clever from them. Great review by the way!
Nice vid. I’ve looked around and can’t figure out the following: Is the main compartment separated in the middle creating to areas? Or, could load a poster tube in through the roll top and it’s go all the way down to the bottom? (Not really interested in carrying a poster tube. Just trying to figure out the inside. Can’t find anywhere!) thx
Great work as always! Couple questions.... would this fit under a plane seat? Could you fit the peak design tech pouch in the top part without having to unroll the top? TIA
Hey Kent, thanks so much for the love! First question - it's tough to say as it depends on the airline, but I would say that as long as it's a regular airline (aka, not Ryan Air) you should be fine Second question - I'm a bit confused by this one. The only way to access anything on the top is by unrolling the top. But I just checked and the Peak Design pouch fits in the side access zip! :)
@@Nomads.Nation Yeah sorry. Now that I read that back it doesn't make sense. What I meant was, could it fit above the camera area without having to unroll into the expandible area. Thanks again
WOW thank you so much! I don't know what to say besides I hope those bags fit your needs perfectly! Personally i'm really getting into the sling life these days, especially if I need to pop out real quick. much better than stuffing my pockets.
@@Nomads.Nation for realz, sling made a huge difference. No more dropped phones or bulky pockets on your pants! Thanks again and I look forward to seeing more vids from you & your team!
Ahahaha, the front pocket is "big enough for a human head"... I have watched a ton of bag review videos, and this moment is at the top of my favorite moments across all of RU-vid.
Just bought the Prvke (using your link) and can't wait to received it. I like the Instagram look, people deal with it!! (21L Tan, without the photography bundle, cause I'm just a normal person) I really like the deliver and extensive way you guys review all bags and definitely fell down the rabbit hole of backpacks with you! Wow, a whole world that I never knew existed... But I understand now how you would want to create THE best backpack ever. I will be looking out for the Fyro when available. Keep up the good work
Your videos amazing I love how to take the bag outside with you nice to see Hong Kong never been there. How do you like living there? I think this bag looks amazing love the look of it. But just before this video I watched your video on the duo daypack and wow that bag looks amazing. I presume if you had to choose you would go with the duo daypack….I’m guessing. Beautiful bags but wow the duo daypack is basically a $300 dollar bag in 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦where I live. 😱. Will you have the opportunity to review the all-new wandrd prvke? Heard they made some nice changes from the original. Wandrd offers some deals on there original prvke which I can pick up for $187.00 🇨🇦 dollars so I’m thinking about that. Just wondering..haha what your thoughts were. Thanks 🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️
ive been binge-watching this channel recently, its just so informative! got a question, the laptop sleeve fits a 15" or 13" laptop? cuz it looks like it can accommodate a 15" on their website
We actually don’t give number ratings anymore - they were getting too complicated/messy. But I did give a pretty poor rating to the Everyman Hideout backpack
dude, I see your channel popping up for a bunch of bags I'm interested which is cool for you but I don't like the way these videos are edited, I don't need storytelling when looking for a bag and the editing is tiresome with lots of cuts and not enough b roll of the actual product. hope you improve over time, thanks for the video!
thanks for the feedback! This is actually one of the the first videos we ever shot - I'd like to say that our format has gotten much better since then, check out our most recent reviews and let me know what you think :)
Why review a camera bag if you don’t camera? This is as stupid as me complaining about a golf bag being suboptimal for carrying a laptop? Stay in your lane.
Thanks for your comment JJ! But your comparison doesn't make any sense. A golf bag is a golf bag. Yet in contrast, WANDRD markets this pack as a backpack that is ideal for photography, EDC, as well as travel - even for non-photographers Plus there are plenty of reviews on this pack from a photographer's perspective - our goal was to show a different use-case scenario for non-photographers who might also be interested in it :)
@@Nomads.Nation I carried Peak Design bags for years. Wandrd is better designed, more durable, and more weather resistant. I still use PD packing cubes. The medium fits nicely with the camera cube for an overnight trip. If I were not a photographer there are better options, from Goruck to Mission Workshop.
I am not a photographer but I am getting the prvke 41 liter! It's spaces with great organizations for packing cubes. Mission and Goruck are way too heavy for my back.
