Willy POV to get the real height of the wave by using the video, try to compare it with a person riding it, and see how much bigger than the person the wave is
willy!! great video! I can relate so much to you because i am also a begginer exactly on the same level of bodyboarding as you! I am from Portugal most specificly from Cascais but your waves are so much better and so more consistent! here we get great waves as well but these slabs!!! great thing is that we dont have sharks here! keep up the good work
Hold onto your board when you pull in I’ve noticed you’ve had a couple times you could of made it but have let go, just a tip try it out awesome vids so keen for you to try sharkies
Wow I gotta say that spot looked so fun, I don't know what'd I do if I didn't have videos like this during off season to keep me entertained until the surf comes back, thanks for sharing and take care m8
Thanks for the video, Willy. I have a question if you don't mind. I live in Phuket, Thailand and at certain times of the year we get a nice break on local beaches and can body surf and boogie board. I am predominantly a body surfer and use my Dafins and have a blast. I want to get into boogie boarding more. I bought a used board off of a mate of mine and have tried to use it. I'm struggling truth be told. Typically I just miss the waves or get slammed going over the barrel. In watching your video it seems you are only kicking, not using arms. It is right? What are you looking for timing wise to start your run to catch the wave? How do you keep from just going straight down the face and catching the sideways line? Any tips you could give would be helpful. Thanks for the nice videos. Phil
My trouble with bodyboarding is that I grew out of my fins and now ride finless. It's fun as it challenges you to sit further inside but last time I surfed a reef break, my bloody feet were all cut
Just wondering what mouth mount do you use? Ive recently purchased one off amazon. Been using it but my the angles are a little off when i go to watch them. Please help thanks Your videos are very inspiring i live in hawaii and love bodyboarding just waiting to get me a laptop so i can start editing amd making cool videos like yourself. Aloha mate!!!!!!
