the same problem i saw from lee is that she is weak in defending punches. xiong won simple because she landed more punches to lee face.

I still thinking Xiong is a male, chinese do that a lot, almost every Chinese athletes looks like a male.

Angela Lee needs a better striking coach. She gets tagged so many times rushing in and she has no knock out power.

What is wrong with Angela Lee’s coaches ? She is still taking far too many clean punches in the stand up ! I’ve watched all 3 of her fights against Xiong , and watched her walk in with hands down , and horrible boxing defense . If I were her , I’d fire my coach , and get somebody that can actually train her boxing , and hone her skills

Some of the fans saying about Angela won..haha😅 Are you blind guys, didn't you watch the match properly. Even though I was Angela's fan before, I can see Xiong is the best fight in comparison to her. Девушке в белом стоило менять тактику, вынуждая чёрную атаковать. В какой-то момент она даже поняла это, но потом опять продолжила плясать под дудку соперницы. Девушка в чёрном явно имеет лучший скилл в боксе, поэтому легко работает в контратаках на руках, избегая ног. Но я бы проверил её на гормоны между боями, у неё слишком неженские руки и фигура. В любом случае, победа заслуженная, потому что она смогла заставить соперницу играть по своим правилам , и если та повелась - сама виновата. У меня единственный вопрос: где лоу-кики? Они запрещены правилами?

So many clueless commenters here. Even someone casuals like me know that Xiong already won by miles ahead on the first round. After that she just needs to defend her advantages and make sure Angela won't able to score any big points to come back. It's correct strategic decision. Angela playing catch up the whole time. It doesn't matter when she only slightly won the subsequent rounds, she needed to score big points to win which she failed to do.

How did they see that!! The Champ was backing up and running for life lol … Angela "ThePrayingMantis” Lee!! Excellent Adaptation and execution!!!

they stole her fight. she clearly won the lady in white. she dominated the entire fight except for round 1. she was the aggressive force, constantly attacking and cornering her opponent. she even managed to knock down xiong a couple of times 2 or 3. she landed numerous kicks and blows that made the audience exclaim in shock. lee clearly won rounds 2, 3 & 4, while she lost round 1. the last round 5 was decisive and yet lee ended in style in the end, showing her confidence as the winner. to much regret and to everyone's surprise, the judges gave the win to xiong. let us observe carefully that xiong was always running back in defense and getting trapped and pushed against the ropes where lee demonstrated her superior skills. take a look at all those leg and knee kicks and blows that lee landed. observe also how lee grabbed xiong's legs and at the very end she even managed to climb on top of xiong! on the other hand xiong had her moments of glory, she caught lee with various swings that landed face on on lee's face and head. xiong clearly beat lee in round 1. yet her overall performance was not good enough to defeat lee, she kept playing into defense and not really attacking or taking control of the center stage. she allowed lee to overwork and tire her as she continuously keept running backwards and being pressed against the fence. how in the freaking world can the judges have possibly given the win to Xiong then??? lee should file a protest and seek a reversal of the judges' incorrect decision. if MMA is to become the corrupt world of boxing in stealing wins from hard working fighters, then the public will lose faith in the sport and not watch it anymore. the comments below also support the view that viewers are in agreement by majority that Lee won this match. very disappointed. a waste of viewer time, despite the fact that the fight was exciting and entertaining.

Xiong spent last 3 rounds just trying to avoid getting hit, easy way to keep belt without actually fighting for it 😢😢

You can't keep the belt by fighting backwards, taken to the ground, controlled on the clinch. Angela won!

The fight should of been called after second knockdown in round 1. Lee wasn't really wasn't doing much to avoid the damage.

What a robbery. Lee rocked in the first, but won at least 3 of those rounds by a large margin. Bottom line, never let it go to the judges. These judges must have been blind!

Lee should learn to fight from the outside and make her opponent come to her. She got lit up and took too much damage

I had Xiong winning most rounds of the fight as well... I was surprised to see Lee celebrating as if she won at the sound of the final bell. Xiong dominated, refused to "go ground" most of the time -which was a excellent strategy because Lee ground game has always been top notch. The more tattoos Lee seems to get, the more she seems to slow down -just a wee bit... Age may be catching up with her. And although Xiong may not be the prettiest and the "cookie cutter cutout model" that most fighting organizations desire for ratings, what (in my opinion) she lacks there, she MORE THAN makes up for it in her fighting ability and is definitely one hell of a fighter! Respect. Health and blessings to both fighters

Damn that was a hell of a fight! You got to give it to both of these ladies they are freaking Warriors. But damn I wanted Angela to win this so bad lol she would make an unbelievable champion! She is so so likeable!!! And has the heart of a warrior! She would be loved beyond belief!!!

Xiong won round 3. She was landing the heavier shots and doing more damage. Whereas Angela was struggling to do damage in round 3, outside of last 30 seconds.

As much as i liked Angela's coming forward style, the champ doesnt have to do as much to retain. Angela never dominated a round like Xiong did that first round. If you want the belt, you have to take it like you mean it.

I honestly hate when fighters get rewarded for running and countering while the actual aggressor gets penalized for making the fight actually proceed. If both of them did what Xiong did then not a blow would have been thrown. Lee makes the fight actually proceed but gets a loss because she is exposing herself. Xiong gets the dub but not the respect. Similar to Floyd, smart fighter but I don’t like watching his fights.

Xiong was fighting scared yet Angelina defense was impeccable with her face. The low kick to Xiong's left knee was there all fight. Any kicker would have broken that knee.
