the mandalorian actually they were 3 main and 3 fake landings the Ottoman army under Liman Von Sanders were waiting in the fake ones because of that main landing zones had very little amount of soldiers waiting
Me a Kiwi: "Another Sigh because the main parts of history has left behind those who had a large part, Anyone who looks into history know that us Kiwi's and Aussies were the main forces against the Ottomans" ... "Extremely angry grunts"
@@clemboston4723 (Brits meaning the Brass, Pommies meaning British sailors and soldiers, and ANZAC being Australia and New Zealand Army Corp/s soldiers) edit: soldiers at the end
It was mostly the anzacs (Australia and New Zealand) who fought in the Gallipoli campaign. Theirs a museum in New Zealand that tells you all about it. (very sad)
Thats not correct, the plan failed heavlily failed due to one thing: The planning, it was made so Turkey whould go out the war, because of its allyship with turkey, but they still was making it for Russia.but the entire ANZAC landing was a failure.
Hear them whisper, Voices from the other side Hear them calling Former foes now friends are resting side by side They will never leave our hearts or fade away Live forever They were far to you to die in such a way how many wasted lives How many dreams did fade away Broken promises They won't be coming home Oh mothers wipe your tears Your sons will rest a million years Found their peace at last As foe turned to friend And forgive And they knew they'd die Gallipoli Left their letters in the sand Such waste of life Gallipoli Dreams of freedom turned to dust Hell is waiting where the ocean meets the sand Cliffs of burden Where the soldiers rushed into a certain death At the shoreline Blood of heroes stains the land Light a candle One for each of them who fought and died in vain There is no enemy There is no victory Only boys who lost their lives in the sand Young men were sacrificed Their names are carved in stone and kept alive And forever we will honour the memory of them And they knew they would die Gallipoli Left their letters in the sand Such waste of life Gallipoli Dreams of freedom turned to dust how many wasted lives How many dreams did fade away Broken promises They won't be coming home Oh mothers wipe your tears Your sons will rest a million years Found their peace at last As foe turned to friend And forgive And they knew they would die Gallipoli Left their letters in the sand Such waste of life Gallipoli Dreams of freedom turned to dust

With the entry of Bulgaria into the war alongside the central bloc in 1915 the British and Australians left Gallipoli the port of Thessaloniki in Greece

4:10 the dude that inventet the "tank" (wich was the codename(noone should be suspicius what they where up to)) was a brit. The idea was make sth that could go over trenches and be nearly invincebil to... Everything??? So started the mk1.
ANZAC'S were doing most of the work they were helping the British. The aim of this deployment was to assist a British naval operation that aimed to force the Dardanelles Strait and capture the Turkish capital, Constantinople. The Australians landed at what became known as Anzac Cove on 25 April 1915, and they established a tenuous foothold on the steep slopes above the beach. 60,000 Australians that fought at Gallipoli, there were 26,000 casualties and 7,594 were killed and there were also New Zealanders. The Australians and New Zealanders did not have to fight in this war but they chose to help so that their families could live because at this moment Germany was planning to try to take over the world again. Many ANZAC'S lost their lives over the campain
5:30 Vasilly Zaytsev was technically alive during the Gallipoli Campaign. He was actually born just over a month after it started, and it continued until he was 8 months old. Obviously it still had nothing to do with him, but still, technically alive.
Chemical weapons were always against the Geneva convention, even before the Great War And also the U.S had people in planes. But fun Video thanks for the entertainment
@BaronVonGames that jedi you clicked on when selecting your troops is the ProjectJamesify unit. The team who created the ancient warfare series wanted to thank James for all of the videos he made of the trilogy. That's how they thanked him. Just a little fact in case you wanna create a youtuber battle mod 😉. Also, you should play Xcom 2. I think you'll like it.
What about a world war 2 Mod, like American paratrooper and American marine, British commando, French resistance. I know this would be a touchy subject but it would be awesome
Let go the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps). 'ANZAC' stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. On the 25th of April 1915, Australian and New Zealand soldiers formed part of the allied expedition that set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula. These became known as Anzacs and the pride they took in that name continues to this day.
