Epica performed Storm The Sorrow with surprise guest Charlotte Wessels in Dordrecht. It was mindblowing 🤯 This time only in phone quality as I didn't bring my camera with me.
The thing I love about Epica: they always "help", give space, and encourage the artists who are struggling with a " new career", "a new solo life"... That's amazing! They always share their spot!!
BRILLIANT to see Charlotte back on stage. She's sounding great and seems to be well fired up. Sounds Gorgeous with Simone too. 4:00 to 4:29 🤩🥰😜😇💗💛💯💥💫 Hope this is the start of a come back. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Wish I had experienced this duet as well at the 20th anniversary. Oh well, I've got to see Epica and I'll get to see Charlotte at her concert on october 23rd in Utrecht. I'm so lucky
@@phantoms-yy5jv ooh controversial! ...You're gonna get me into trouble (again!). But it's a fair question - given that Martijn chose to still call it Delain even though he was the only one left in it after the bust up! By doing that he must have known he was inviting comparisons between the 'two Delains'. Personally I'd a given the band a new name and have a fresh start as my 'get out of jail' card. 😳😰😖🙉🤷🏻🤦
@@Closminding So you want me to Walk the plank first and it will take the heat off you?lol.I really wasn't expecting Martijn to get Delain remade before everyone else figured out what they were going to do.I think the new singer is doing a good job but really expected Charlotte's band to be somewhat as heavy as they used to be so I'm disappointed there. The new Delain is going to be at Prog power festival in Atlanta next September, along with Ad Infinitum and 7 kingdoms, tickets are kinda expensive so was hoping they would do some dates together at regular prices. Also looking forward to seeing Within Temptation and Sharon next month! Try to stay outta trouble Closminding😇🤸👹😂😂😂
Good thing for Charlotte that she has a good friend like Simone to give work out of charity. Otherwise she would starve because her new music sucks. Meanwhile, Delain is alive and well making new music that people actually want to listen to.
