I started listening to Epica when I was 15 years old, when I barely knew about life. I remember having suicide thoughts, but somehow their songs, even if I didn´t understand them really well, made me feel like life was beautiful. I´m 23 now, always coming back to them

Having Kingdom of Heaven as a single might be one of the most unexpected things Epica has ever done, and a really nice surprise. Almost as shocking as having Design Your Universe and Martyr of the Free Word in acoustic versions

Finally, this song gets the treatment it deserves! It sounds so much fuller, everything has a lot more beef to it. I love it! Can't wait to hear what the remastering has done for the rest of the album!

Masterpiece in the Epica library. One among so many. I can’t put into words how much Epica and their music means to me. It’s like it is connected to my soul and my mind and truly makes me feel connected, something I’ve so desperately needed in Times I’ve felt so incredibly lost. Then, of course, it blasts through my core and I can’t control the head banging bombastic explosion that’s like a drug. I swear this music is a high and a double hit at that with the soaring heavenly vocals and choral harmonies. I adore how they’ve come perfectly full circle with THP from this album. Cheers, Epica! The best song of all time by Epica (Music, Lyrics and all)

This is absolutely stunning in its conceptual depth, its musical composition, its vocals... I become emotional when watching and listening to this video because it hits something very deep within my core. I also use the song during my self-guided visual meditations and it brings me peace. There's something about the merging of science, spirituality and heavy music that doesn't exist in other genres.

I love this remastering, especially because Simone's voice is more distinguished in the backing vocals, but I still adore the first release, since with this album I fell in love with Epica

The Epica band is an innovation in modern rock metal music. - the best combination of male growl and female vocals! Great song!

Such a masterpiece.... This is my second favorite song from this album. My first song that I listened to was "Resign to Surrender", from there I instantly loved Epica, look how much this band has come to today. And these "relics" are still powerful to hear.
