Epica is by far the best concert I have been to… by far !! Saw them in 2023… I sang, I jumped, I handbanged, I screamed, I smiled , I cried….

They never just go through the motions. It's everything and more.

Epica is legendarily epic. Enough epicness for 20 epic bands combined.

EPICA FOREVER AND EVER

I remember when this was streamed during COVID, I purchased the ticket to watch it and was completely blown out Was obsessed with it for days even showed it to my mother who isn't into metal lol Also remember that I missed part of Once upon a Nightmare because I had to pee 😂 Masterful show The best of the bunch released those times Important note: No Simones were harmed during the performance of The Obsessive Devotion

Its hard picking a favorite song here right, Once upon a nightmare could be it for sure for this concert, but im not sure,lol, The skeleton key with children choir, Rivers done acapella, kingdom of heaven part 1 and 3 with so many mindblowing transitions, unchain utopia with rain.. so many good ones..

I am sure that you will have loved this - IMHO its the best of the many digital concerts recorded by bands in the pandemic and will be to Epica what ‘Pulse’ is to Pink Floyd when people look back at their work in 30 years time.

And imagine... they had to be on a concert tour with Sabaton to be able to tour in the US and Canada. I was privileged to see them in Philly in Oct 2022 and they were just amazing. I actually had someone standing next to me who had never heard of them. I just shook my head. Keep spreading the word about my favorite band! They should be filling stadiums here.

You did it again! First Retrospect and now Omega Alive! I love these full concert reacts, you get a whole different take on the music when you're consuming it in large quantities in one sitting.

This IS one of the BEST "Live" Concerts of all time !!!! I have this Epica Blu-ray alongside to the other greats, like Nightwish and Ayreon. You asked for the genius who arrangerad Rivers (the acapella song with choir). The composer is Rob, the bassist. Choir arrangments most likely by Coen (the keyboardist) and Joost (their producer).

I went to Guatemala this last January to one of their latin america tour concert and it was amazing. They started the show with this same opening and song.

I’m so glad you did this concert and loved it so much. This show was my favorite concert to see during the lockdown. It is a legendary show for the production aspect for me. Watching this again brought tears back again. Any time there was fire, sparks, rain, aerial dancing, etc it just blew my mind. Also, I’m so happy you felt the way you did after listening to “Once Upon a Nightmare.” I totally agree that’s a perfect song. It has everything. Cheers!

My own top 5 Epica (not a ranking, just 5 favourite), if we are choosing from ALL their material are - Unleashed - Never enough - Design your universe - kingdom of heaven pt3 - Cry for the moon Actually it was really hard to choose… like, I maybe can name a few songs that I do NOT like much, but everything else is S-tier From this concert I cannot choose really. Production team went on a beast mode. Rain, burning piano, once upon a nightmare filmed with one cam flying around, outfits and decoration changes, dancers, gymnasts and other entertainment people in the background, sound mastering is great too, and, of course, the band itself This is an over the top quality stuff hands down

Wow Been waiting for this a long time! Fun show for sure! Amazing production and setlist. It shows the love and care they put on what they do. Next epica show should be something like the Exit festival show so you can see what they normally looks like live. Cause obviously they cannot put that production on every show but they replace that with they funny silly personalities.
