@@kalicom2937 Some states are prepared for that, at least in the case of dogs. The dog spends a night apart from the owners, watched by someone appointed. Both parties are watched during the night and inspected the next morning as to make sure they don't play tricks like rubbing bacon on their hand or the such. Then, they get the 3 of them together, make sure they are all at the same distance and they see who the dog runs to. That person gets the dog.
I mean yeah? Its a fact that people think its funny if it happens to a guy. I have to laugh too even though I know its serious. Tbh I would laugh too though if it was the scenario of a woman having her titty removes. My humor is just pretty dark.
being a kid from Northern Virginia in the 90s must have been hard for my mom first having to explain the Bobbit incident and then Monica's blue dress since they were both on the local and national news for months
Lorena Bobbit did cut off her husband's member and made money on a movie that was made about it. But that was not the event Bill was talking about. A woman cut it off and threw it in the garbage disposal because he said he was going to get a divorce. That was discussed on an episode of "The Talk", where entire female cast laughed. Especially Sharon Osborne, who was most vocal on how she thought it was great. Ironically, she would be cancelled for making politically incorrect statements, but celebrating violence men only elevated her career.
Great take! That is the great part about Burr literally silences the crowd with an uncomfortable sentence and then unfolds it for everyone in a hilarious and amazing way to help us understand his point.
Every word in this skit is... I wish I could make every person in this country sit down, listen to this skit and sign an affidavit that they heard, understood and accepted the truth in every word he said.
"Every night I'm turning on the news, waiting for someone to address it." "All my heroes are going down... No, it's awful. It's a horrific thing to see as a guy watching guys go through that shit. And then there's no examination of it afterward. They just go, 'He's an idiot. Oh, he's stupid.' If that guy is stupid, what the f--- am I?" "Why wouldn't he think he could bang his maid in his own bed and get away with it? This dude has been in the zone for four decades. Four decades-- nothing but net!" "Like they have any idea what it's like to be tempted at that level! ... I can barely handle the temptation to Facebook. I'm gonna judge _Tiger Woods_?? I golf, I don't walk off to a busload of Scandinavian women waiting to fuck my brains out." "Why is this woman telling me what it's like to have a dick??" "Every man in this room is programmed to fuck 85% of the women in this room. It's just that you [women] won't, so that's why he won't do it."
Everything Bill Burr said is spot on. It's the number one reason that men are walking away from marriage as an option. There are dozens of videos on You Tube that are all over this.
And months (years ago) there have been articles on the why women can't find a "good man"....But most recent articles have taken a more feminist tact of "Why women have decided to be alone"....laughable,
I agree. She has a real strong personality as well but it works for them. Just like him she doesn't easily get triggered and has a good sense of humor.
Alimony originated because "back in the day," not a lot of women had careers. Their family WAS their career. They were completely dependent on their husbands for financial support, so if they split that was problem. It's gotten out of hand though. There is no rational argument to be said for someone receiving millions of dollars because they were married to a rich person. In fact, because they were married to a rich person, they probably never lifted a finger their entire marriage. Enough for them to get on their feet, on their own, is perfectly acceptable, imo. Anyway, great reaction as usual.
4:02 Even Katherine's friends reaction further proves the point. It's either a joke or a 'he must have deserved it' response by women. Just imagine if a man did the equivalent to a woman.
There was a case of a woman cutting off a guy's "part" here in Pennsylvania too. She apparently caught him in the act of cheating on her so she used a scalpel and cut it off of him (She was a vet, but obviously lost her license to treat animals after that). Not sure how it worked but she got out of it with NO jail time, just a bail fee.
The Lorena Bobbet incident cemented my disdain for Sharon Osborne. What her & the other individuals on that show did when talking about that incident & the fact they couldn't even get through a half assed apology the next week without laughing ultimately killed any respect I could have had for them.
@@lavellelee5734 Sharon Osborne and the rest of the cast of their all women talk show made jokes about Lorena Bobbet story. Primarily the genital mutilation aspect. Then when made to apologize it wasnt even an apology and they made more jokes during said "apology ".
I saw the video of those women discussing the story. It wasn't the Bobbitt story, but a different story of a couple in which the husband came home handing his wife divorce papers. In retaliation, she drugged a drink for him. He passed out. She then proceeded to cut off his penis and put in a garbage disposal or blender.
He makes the point that no one cares for men and that people laughed at the dude who got his d cut off. Then the girl reacting in this video proceeds to say “ he ended up without it” and laughed like it was funny thus strengthening bill burrs point. Jeez lol.
I think the funniest thing about watching these videos is these women 1) acting surprised like this is some sort of new knowledge, 2) or having deluded themselves into thinking it doesn't exist. 🤣
Lorena Bobbitt never went to jail, as far as I know. To my recollection, she was found not guilty due to temporary insanity and she got a month or so in a mental hospital. That was it. Kinda proves Bill's point...
On January 21, 1994, Lorena was found not guilty due to temporary insanity, meaning she did not have to spend time in prison for wounding John. Following the acquittal she was sent to a hospital for a 45-day psychiatric evaluation, as required by Virginia state law, after which she was released.
Even though the mom laughed the harder at the "dick in the garbage disposal" joke, while I was watching the reaction I got the sensation that she understood EXACTLY what Bill was talking about. She gets it.
Bill Burr is the realest comedian, possibly celebrity in general actually. Dude gives zero fucks and says what he thinks. Even his jokes, which are jokes, still have a weight of truth behind a lot of them. He’ll never be cancelled for it either, cause not only does he not give a shit, but his fans love him for it. He built his entire career on it.
I get what he was saying though. Realistically speaking, there is no excuse as to why a woman who barely works or doesn't work is entitled to 250 million due to divorce of being cheated on. Does it suck? Yeah. Is he crap for it? Yeah. Should she get something? Of course. Give her a few million. But no I'm sorry there's just no justification for someone with a work ethic like that for the entire marriage somehow being entitled to way more than she could have ever dreamed of being able to contribute. Also, let's not forget that there are women out there who make this their job. Marrying a dude just to divorce them to receive a small fortune. And divorcing them over a set up that they hire people to make to begin with.
Notice how she let out a laugh when discussing the Bobbit story? Kinda proves Bill's point about how society thinks; bad things happening to men is FUNNY! (which is depressing)
The genius of Bill is at the start of every routine you are thinking... no, not this time. This is too far. Then half way through you are thinking... wait a minute, I never thought of that. He must get such a kick out of turning an audience around. Brilliant every time.
Women like you give guys like me hope. It's hard to find a woman that can look at subjects that involve women and understand the man's point of view. Bravo ladies
The one with the garbage disposal wasn't Lorena Bobbit. She threw it in a field and if i remember correctly it was actually found in time to be reattached. The garbage disposal was Catherine Kieu.
A good comedian makes you laugh. A great comedian makes you think at the same time. Love the Mr Burr. Am enjoying watching a young woman open to the consideration of life outside of her own experience. Being open to others experience is surely one of the keys to a dynamic world. And laughing with each other to boot. Keep on keeping on.
This comedy bit of Bill Burr... for me is gold, finally a man called out the untouchable....."We're always right women..." Used logic and comedy to prove how right he is... As a guy, love it... It needed to be said for so long
my 2 exes cost me just shy of 4 mill. i was left with around 60,000. but i'm coming back i got rid of them and have full custody of my kids. the deal was i never see or hear from them again or they return my money. so far , they'd rather keep the money than fight for my precious kids. my morals and theirs are incompatible. it was money well spent. ive got 3 kids i'm very proud of. they were raised with morals and to help others as if they're your brother or sister. and act as if the good lord were standing next to you. 1 is a hospice nurse, 1 is a manager at general dynamics. 1 is a warehouse manager. i never date a girl that knows me. i date girls from at least 30 miles from my home. just self preservation and protecting my kids inheritance. it sucks wondering if she likes me or just fishing for money. BTW, moms gorgeous. i can tell she worries how the jokes you're hearing will effect you. HATS OFF TO MOM great job raising her.
Another time he's telling this bit, he adds in former boxing champion *Roy Jones Jr's* ex-wife wanted his championship belt in the divorce & *Bill Burr* says "why do they go with her shoes or something"?
Bill Burr is the answer to women who say, “Why don’t you take more time to understand me, why are men so ignorant about our bodies......” Love the funny innocence of you two sometimes...... you both are just dolls (1940’s movies if you missed the reference)..... It’s a good thing......
@@lisanidog8178 Because of how rarely they get it. It's nice to finally give people a taste of their own medicine for once. Being the system is biased toward giving women everything.
CORRECTION: Bill Burr was not talking about the 1993 Lorena Bobbitt incident. He was talking about an incident in 2011 which ended with the garbage disposal. Sharon Osbourne infamously was laughing about this with other women on her TV talk show "The Talk".
Alimony was created at a time when women did not work or go into higher education after High School. This meant they had nothing going into the marriage (marriages happened right after high school) and would start from scratch when they divorced. So it would be unfair for the women who committed their time for the upkeep of the house and did not invest in a career. Jobs would also preferred to hire the young, pretty girl or the strong, young male versus a divorced woman. But you're right, alimony is something that should be removed now that women have the option to work. Even if alimony should be kept, the way it's calculated and distributed should be radically changed.
You two are gems 💎, two people with common sense and empathy for other peoples problems. Your mother really did a phenomenal job raising her daughter. Good luck in life
Because Alimony was meant for housewives who may have never worked or took decades out of work to raise children. It was never meant just to support a spouse earning less, but that's what it's become. People believe they are entitled to live to live the life they've been "accustomed to" while living with their spouse, that's an actual argument they use.
Great Bill Burr reaction! Fantastic channel you have--fresh, unique reaction perception. I hope you blow this thing up big time! ❤️ from the great state of Maine!
He's actually not talking about Lorena Bobbitt. He's talking about a dude that knew his girl was crazy and told her he wanted a divorce. She drugged him and while he was passed out she chopped his ish off. The women on The Talk, talk about it and laugh the whole time. Disgusting on their end. There's a video on youtube you can find on this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbjnre1RRxE.html
To answer your question, she (Lorena Bobbitt) never went to prison. She cried on the stand and was found not guilty due to temporary insanity. To bills point, if a man were to do the equivalent to his wife, there is no way possible that he'd be found not guilty for any reason. Might even get the death penalty.
Bobbit was drunk passed out when the weenie whacking occurred. She drove off with the dismembered member and tossed it out the window of her car at some point. It was actually found and reattached. Sadly, the a$$hole went and did a pr0n film called "Franken-wiener"
@@yissnakklives8866 He is an asshole for trying to make a positive out of a horrendous incident? He will likely never have proper function of it again.
I liked and subscribed, because it was so refreshing to see two women who have the ability to Self-Reflect, and actually Empathise with the imbalances in Matrimonial Law. I love that your real and enjoy confronting comedy without getting offended, so well done ladies.
I love everything Bill Burr has done. Some people get very offended by some of it but i just think it’s because it hits too close to home. 😂 Nice reaction video, enjoyed watching.
I love that you do these with your mom. There's 2 generations of reactions. It's adorable when your reaction is to the vulger, while not fully getting the joke(but your mom does. But both reactions are valid and not incorrect haha. That's high praise for your mum I suppose raising you right. Love you both keep the videos rolling.
When I first saw this channel I didn’t think that that was Katherine’s mother they look similar I thought they were sisters but I love these ladies they are so beautiful and they great senses of humor ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤣🤣🤣🤣
My parents split up, my grandparents on both my mum and dads side of the family split up, even before all the bullshit of divorce law abuse was known to me, young me was like fuck marriage.
I react the exact same way with Burr. Most of the time, straight serious face cause it's just facts. And then every 5 mins he comes out of left field hard, and cracks me up.
Another takeaway is, if you have a man in your life that doesn't cheat, you should give that man your extreme respect because he is one of high value and show him your appreciation regularly.
I feel like not cheating should be a given, not a check ✔️, for both men and women. A relationship is technically suppose to be strong commitment, so cheating shouldn't even be a criteria. There are things like honesty, understanding, warmth that should indicators of a good partner
The case Bill Burr was talking about wasn't Lorena Bobbitt actually; he was talking about another guy whose wife did the same thing Lorena Bobbitt did, except this was much more recent.
@@Mr.Rosesright_now Half of Adele’s net worth under California law. Half of an estimated $180mil. Settlement is undisclosed. But you know it’s in the eight figures range. With joint custody. Three years of marriage.
Burr was talking about a California woman from Vietnam who put her husband's thing in the garbage disposal. Lorena Bobbitt did the same thing but without the garbage disposal, she actually threw it out the car window and they were able to find it to surgically reattach it.
Lady's look at Paul McCarthy after is 1st wife past away he remarried a much younger women after she filed for divorce she was wanting half a billion dollars cause he was worth a billion. Lets face it she was a gold digger. British Court only awarded her 45 million let's face it I still think that was to much. Only time I believe a wife should be awared half is when she started out when he was poor and she was with him through it all.
The war against Fathers is real and it’s as bad as any human atrocity, and the the people that are almost effected as much are the children. Sometimes more. There’s nothing more sad than a man’s children being taken from him with such ease. 3 or 4 people that love each other being told at the barrel of a police officers gun that they can no longer hug and kiss and eat dinner together or pick them up or be picked up from school by the father, the kids eventually grow to hate their father because he’s not there and the tv tells them that they’re victims of a father that abandoned them... It’s disgusting and every woman who has taken their children from a loving father needs Gods grace more than most on this earth.
The problem is not with there being a war on fathers. The problem is including real fathers, who care, and do the things real dads do. There are a lot of men who don't give a damn. They only want to look good, to not look like shitheels. The war is designed for them, but a lot of real dads get caught in the gears. The only solution I know is get a better lawyer than she has.
Fun fact: the scientist that discovered the "bobbit worm" named it after the Lorena incident since the sea creature is known to sometimes slice its prey in half.
Yeah if you guys want to check out that Whole Stand up Special it's called "You People are all the Same" I think Bill Burr is one of the Funniest Comedians around. He is in my top 10 for sho.
