The TRUE ending to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky! I hope you enjoyed this movie project. I'm doing a movie project of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team next!
Well done, my friend. You have done such an incredible job on making my favorite game just like a movie. I have watched all the cutscenes. This game is beyond incredible, and I can't thank you enough for creating this fantastic series. Keep up the awesome work, my friend. Great quality on all the videos by the way 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Darkrai's pretty smart, if you think about it. He thought ahead. His plan was as follows: -Sway you onto his side with nightmares. -If that failed, set up an ambush and fight you. -If he was defeated, create a dimensional hole and escape. But, of course, NOTHING can prepare you for when the literal god of space arrives in an instant with a grudge against you.
TBH, it would have been even more amazing, if Dialga also showed up for a joint attack with Palkia, since Temporal Tower's collapse was initially Darkrai's fault. From the looks of the screen, there was room for Dialga to also appear on the right.
There is a way to bypass double team but his intimidator can sometimes counter this use a move that cannot miss its target Aerial Ace is what I used :)
His move set is actually drawn at random (I am uncertain as to whether this is on file creation or on first visit). Any possible combination of moves for his level based off of Platinum rules (DP rules in OG T/D) can be used.
I've played up to the Darkrai arc in PMD Explorers of Sky at least two or three times. Every time I played through this arc, I kept thinking about Grovyle and wished that he had returned to the past after his Special Episode. He would have made a great addition to the team. And it would have made the story in this portion of the game so much better if Grovyle had accompanied the Hero and his/her partner to the Dark Crater (I have to agree with a lot of gamers on Cresselia. She made beating Darkrai near-impossible unless I used a Stun Seed at him and picked off the other Pokemon first :p) and learned the truth behind the planet's paralysis alongside them. Like, I can imagine the immense shock he would feel followed by absolute rage when he finds out that the cause of the very world of darkness he had been born into, the reason why he lost his best friend, is standing right in front of him. It would have been poetic justice if Grovyle had been there to join the fight against Darkrai.
I'll be honest, I wanted Giratina to have a larger role in Sky than in Time/Darkness. They took the time to include its Origin form (take Giratina to Sky Peak, Star Cave, or Destiny Tower) from the game that established its relationship with Dialga and Palkia but still didn't make it anything more than an optional boss here.
I think it would have been too much to fit three storylines in the game. But if there was one, it would probably oversee Darkrai doing something, such as destroying the Reverse World, Giratina's home, in order to get rid of the thing that supports the real world. The world would be plunged into destruction and his plan would be fulfilled. I can see that plot involving Giratina.
Probably wishful thinking but when they remake this (because there’s no way they won’t since they did one for the first game) maybe they can add another episode or arc concerning Giratina after the Darkrai arc.
Oh.. so like.. this is the end of the adventure.. ugh.. im very glad i have known this game... oh my gosh, am i crying again? stop.. oh gosh, im heartbrokened somehow..
Actually he does but prefers to fly do you see the 2 lines comming down from Darkrai's hip those are its legs he can extend and retracts them but we see Darkrai mostly without then
Grovyle: WHA? Dusknoir: So it was Darkrai’s doing all along? Celebi: So that’s it and how our future would be brought to ruins. Grovyle: (hitting his fist to the ground) grr, I should have come back, I’ve should have aided them, but, it never occurred at me during the time! Dusknoir: Grovyle, I’m sorry, this is all my fault, I try stopping you and because I was afraid to disappear forever, but, we have kept going, if I ever learned about Darkrai’s scheme, we should have work together and stopped him. Celebi: He’s right, my darling Grovyle, no one ever knew that Darkrai was behind of the planet paralyzed.
Thanks for making this PMD: EoS cutscenes movie series. It's one of the best games ever. In this game, my character is also a Charmander (named Charles) and my partner is also a Riolu (named Ray), and watching your videos reminds me so much more of the good time I had when I played this game. I have replayed this game a few times over the years and it never gets old for me.
Once again I mention the best Pokemon game soundtrack-wise outta all the games this is easily the one with the best soundtrack is even say it's better than most of the main story music
I Just watched all of the Pokemon mystery cutscene movies you made and I enjoyed them so much. This has to have one of the best storylines and plot twists of and Movie/Series/Game ever! Thank you so much for uploading all of this. You shall definitely go to heaven sir'.
The Partner's final speech after beating Darkrai always managed to make me tear up and caused me to ship them with the Hero even more. It's strange to be that attached to a fictional character, but I just am. Goddammit, I wish the game's story didn't end. ;_;
I did hack a level to replay this battle again with the same team, with a Grovyle (same attacks just like the Grovyle we know) upon learning how the planet paralyze would take place
Are there any other Mystery Dungeon games with a crazy story n plot like Time/Darkness had ? This came out when i was 8 i'm 20 now n still rewatch it every so often ! Great story , would love to play another game with a different plot
Same I've been looking for other Mystery Dungeon games with a lore as interesting and charming as this one. I played the previous game, blue rescue team, and though I enjoyed it, I still find better this one, and from what I saw in a video talking about Mystery Dungeon's games, they say Sky/Time/Darkness are the peak of the series, the other games weren't half good nor succesful. Lucky enough we'll get a remake of blue/red rescue team this year, but let's pray that if they do this well, we can get a Mystery Dungeon game with a similar or near quality :)
well there is pokemon red/blue rescue team. the storyline is nowhere near as good as explorers of sky but i like it. and the whole gengar and gardivoir thing makes me cry.
The amount of reviver seeds you used in the final battle is probably the same amount I had used in half of the game lmao Cresselia is genuenely annoying
I lost my nintendo and I borrowed my friend's. This was the only card I had left; I thought defeating Dialga(or whatever the boss from Temperorial(?) Tower was) was the end, turns out it isn't. I'm still stuck at the Manaphy part. That aside, it was fun watching you play, despite the spoilers ahead. ^^
It just occurred to me: when the partner talks about Time Gears for the first time, it shows a place that looks very much like Dark Crater Pit, with a Time Gear over an altar amidst the magma... but when you come here to confront Darkrai, the area looks the same... but all the stone of the "altar" is gone, and obviously the Time Gear itself. Does that mean that Darkrai destroyed the Time Gear himself? Perhaps that is how he gained the ability to summon the dimensional hole, because no ordinary Darkrai should have that ability; Dusknoir had it given by Dialga, but how would Darkrai get it? Perhaps absorbing the power of a Time Gear he himself destroyed is how he did it...
Could you imagine if your partner actually betrayed you at the end? And you would have to defeat both of them? Or maybe darkrai would somehow throw your partner into the dimensional hole? Saying goodbye was one time too much.
How did you get to such high levels? I can't beat the game because I'm not strong enough but I'm glad I watched all of these episodes. 100% worth it! :D
So I guess technically WIgglytuff was right that no Pokemon is truly all bad, though the fact that it makes a mind wipe to "redeem' Darkrai would make that one debatable. Not sure if that should count as redemption, lol. In any case, a great ending to a great story, and a great job by Theaggyyu putting this together. Thank you so much!
Where Darkrai was banished to the Sinnoh region and shattered into human and Pokemon and became Tobias and Darkrai. Tobias remembers everything and Darkrai doesn't remember a thing except it's moves
that's actually a popular theory that darkrai turn into a human in a world where the planets paralysis happend. Long story short Darkrai actually is the main character (you). (although technically we are the playable sidekick)
I remember how frustrating it was to keep Cresselia alive lol. Also Darkrai’s moveset except Quick Attack is absolutely brutal. Double Team pretty much decided your fate and Ominous Wind did not help.
Thanks for uploading all of these movie projects. Will you also be uploading Red/Blue Rescue Team cutscenes as well? (and maybe later Gates and Super?)
Theaggyyu Oh that's right. I would do it but I suck at completing a game 100% so I might not get to be able to record all the cutscene footages. (Though I might be able to get GtI since I hear there's not a lot of epilogue cutscenes. But forget about Super, I'm having a hard time beating the main missions. I might break my 3DS if I attempted to do the aftermath xD )
I got sort of lucky with this one, I guess? Judging from the other comments, anyway... I took out Magcargo and Mismagius first, because they posed the biggest threats. And the whole time, Darkrai and his minions were mostly focused on ME instead of Cresselia. It also helped that I was Riolu and therefore resistant to certain attacks from four of the enemies. Funnily enough, Cresselia actually landed the ending blow on Darkrai (although my Force Palms weren't far off the mark; I don't think I left him with much). Honestly, I have no idea how people had a hard time with this. The actual dungeon leading up to them was what I found worse mostly because I kept getting blown up by things I couldn't see and getting unlucky with traps (one time I even ran into two Mismagius who both decided to bust out Perish Song. One missed me; the other one missed Cresselia and my partner but still hit me). But this was nothing after the battle against "Dark Master" Wigglytuff and the rest of the Guild (between the AOE's, Sunflora's Petal Dance and Wigglyftuff's unholy Doubleslap... Sweet motherloving Arceus that was torturous...).
Absolutely HATED that Rhyperior in the final battle. Lightning Rod prevented me from landing Discharge, plus its Intimidator skill prvented me from attacking it 50% of the time. Also by the time you've taken out Darkrais minions, he would've set up several Double Teams to piss you off :/
I swear it took 10 revivers seeds to take down Darkrai. Had Pikachu with Discharge which was negated by Rhyperiors damn Lightning Rod, so had to take him out with my Charmander first asap. Also Darkrai with Double Team and Ominous Wind was the worst in this battle
you probility didnt know but when you talk to one or the ursarings one of them say that the clouds at the eveltion place is gone and you can elove there
i still dont understand how jack became a pokemon though. i mean, how did darkrai's attack do that? humans can get hurt from a pokemon but they dont turn into pokemon. when darkrai attacked jack and grovyle they were traveling through time, not space or different dimensions.
according to darkrai at 2:47 , jack's fierce will to protect grovyle entangled him with many dimensions during time travel, causing him to turn into a pokemon. as to exactly what that means, i'm unsure, but that's the plot. a guess of mine would be to think of this in the same way einstein did with relativity, by treating time as a very special, different type of spatial dimension. thus according to einstein, the normal 3 spatial dimensions and time are interwoven to create a 4 dimensional manifold named spacetime. so you'd expect that when you change time by travelling from past to future or future to past then you are quite likely to affect the 3 spatial dimensions as well (as they are interwoven). note: keep in mind that whenever i say dimension, i'm not referring to the difference between palkia's home and the normal world, i'm referring to the mathematical idea of 3 perceivable spatial dimensions in the normal world.
I know it's been 5 years but you or others may still be wondering that and it's likely through use of a Wonder Mail Generator to get tasks that give the level up seeds (i think there is ones that give 5 levels as opposed to Joy Seed's 1 level) with the simplest of task completion condition
Believe it or not. But this fight was way easier for me. All i had to do is make them blind by using a certain berry that gives them a weird illusion. Using that on the ghost, On darkrai and then paralyzing 2 others or putting 2 others to sleep would do the trick pretty much. Nobody notices how special that berry is, it fr causes them to run away of you and not attack you. Lol.
Wow using all of the revivers seeds in SKY not even time and darkness? And being level 100? I guess other than reviver seeds it was basically item less so...
It would have been better if Grovyle came back...im not fully satisfied. I REALLY wantes to recryit hum as a lart of my team i feel so sad😭💚 but i still love this game either way
idk about u but i’m kinda suprised it ended being darkrai and not giratina that wanted a world of darkness. i mean darkrai is the pokemon of nightmares but giritina is the pokemon of darkness.
For all Cresselia haters.... Please lol, it's not that big of a deal. Just throw a stun seed at Darkrai as the first move and kill everyone else immediately. Then when you attack Darkrai, Cresselia won't be THAT much of an issue as y'all keep blabbering on about.
I had a level 53, charmander and Riolu and we didnt use any reviver seeds. Idk how. Yall made this fight seem so difficult it was easy. I had so many reviver seeds
