Yeah, this is why cookie run always enlighten, terrified and made us emotional though their stories since devsisters are very passionate about, I know there's still some flaws here and there or something stories that was left to be desired but they almost never talk down to kids, ( unlike so many other game franchise ) and that's why i was the devoted and dedicated fan to the cookie run franchise. ( It's alright to disagree with me if you want but be respectful in the comments. )
Only for now. The Beasts are still fighting to get out of the Tree and DE has already succeeded in creating a cookie. We'll definitely see the Awakened Ancients unite to fight DE and the Beasts in the future
No, it's always been an illusion. The Ivory Pagoda and Haetae doesn't actually exist on Beast Yeast so when everything disappeared, Mystic Flour just dumped them somewhere in the fog. Notice how there were zero casualties in the Dark Cacao Kingdom? Mystic Flour wasn't strong enough to actually crumble the cookies yet. This whole event was a ruse to get Cacao to give up his soul jam so Mystic Flour can break out of the Tree herself but since that failed, she decided to retreat for now
I have a few theories about how they survived 1. Dark Cacao traveled with illusions created by Mystic Flour from the moment they got separated by the fog while actual warriors were still lost in the fog. Mystic Flour shown to have at least some capabilities of creating illusions when she showed a false image of Dark Cacao kingdom with Dark Choco being the king. So she might have created illusions to manipulate Dark Cacao 2. Mystic Flour banished them from her realm. The immortals that Dark Cacao meets dissappear in a similar manner, yet we can still see them later in the hot springs. So yeah. Mystic Flour basically yeeted them from her bedroom
