Thanks for watching... I didn't get to play it before he installed the Lollars so unfortunately I can't compare... I just bought a used D'Angelico Premier DC Boardwalk P90. I'll be installing a set of Tonerider Hot P90s in that guitar and comparing them to the stock pickups and the Lollars in the Casino. Stay tuned for that one..
I have the Lollar 50's P90s in my Epiphone Casino, its a 2015 model which used to have rosewood, nowadays they have indian laurer or pau ferro. i use it in unconventional ways on my channel. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Greg. Thanks for watching. I’m a lollar fan as well. Having said that I’ve become a big fan of Tonerider pickups as well. I have a few reviews on my channel but haven’t tried the P90s. I have a new set of their P90s sitting on my bench waiting to be installed. I’m looking for a used semi hollow so I can compare them to the Lollars in my friend’s Casino.
Thanks for watching. Did you mean it looks like the wrong guitar for the style of music I was playing? If so, what type of guitar do you think would be a better choice..
@@Bluesgtar I have heard those Lollars on clean tones, very exiting, that´s what i really wanted to tell. For overdrive solos, the Casino should be good, but maybe you have not enough gain, anyway, the sound is not fat and carrying enough for the type of music played in my opinion. Greetings
