I just love this guitar I bought a few days ago and it just blown me away the playability is flawless and the fishmanns pick ups are insane one of the best guitars I ever owned for shore.

Thank you for the review. Can you describe how the neck feels? In comparison to an Inspired by Gibson Epiphone Les Paul Custom? (I saw that you got one too) I was looking for an explorer guitar but the neck was always too large and thick for me.

i have the previous model of the prophecy les paul with EMGs. It feels really good. I would love to try the new ones with fishman pickups.

Still better off spending that money on a used Gibson explorer which is exactly what I do Epi lose so much value the minute you purchase them whereas the Gibson will hold well, basically forever It’s a no brainer really

I’ve found that on my new Epipiphones (custom and modern 2020 models) the frets were not level had at least 5-6 high frets preventing a low action. I bit the bullet and went about fret levelling crowning and polishing now they are set up perfectly with a decent low action. A right pain but was worth it, not a difficult job but time consuming.

Looks good sounds good. However any irregularities with the frets are unacceptable in my mind. Looks like the nut was good. Everything was in tune. I bought an LTD EC1000 that was a great guitar besides that fact that the nut on the G string was not ground deep enough. Any note played on the 1st or 2nd frets were slightly sharp. The guitar was supposed to have a compensated nut. My eyes didn't see that it didn't have that nut. ESP/LTD got sued over that "compensated" nut.
