I thought, and wanted, the Epiphone would kill it, but found it really close with the Epi only just nudging it. Yes different tones, but both good. I think the Epi was was just slightly more versatile overall.

Bitan Das Gaming I play Cort and all my guitars are Cort, but Epiphone is an historic brand with original designs so I would not say that, they’re both awesome but Cort better than Epiphone? No way Jose. I used to have a Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro and had many problems with electronics and since I bought my CR250 I haven’t got that problem, but Epiphone is a part of the Gibson family of brands. Who is Gibson? The best guitar brand ever, Who is Cort? The biggest OEM guitar manufacturer in the world. Cort is better than Epiphone on OEM manufacturing cause Cort makes guitars for other brands, but no way Cort is better than Epiphone...

I haven’t ever played a Cort guitar so I can only respond with what I’ve heard and read. Are they a good guitar, overall I’d say yes (they’re definitely not a bad guitar), but that’s taking into account that they are regarded as beginners (or entrypoint) guitars. BTW I try not to ever say budget guitars as that makes the subject look cheap and nasty. Mostly, and I really mean mostly not always, guitars are like most things as in you get what you pay for. So not only with other manufacturers but also it’s own different models, Cort guitars will very likely get better the more you pay. Them Orange amps are fantastic though, I’ve have the Orange Crush 35RT now, but also used to have the Crush 12, man you’d think that was 30W! No real flashy effects or models, but a real punchy rock n roller. Your post was 2 months ago now though, so how are YOU finding the guitar and amp combo??
