The Epirus player did a really good job with their cavalry and skirmishers. The Carthage player didn't have the cavalry necessary to take advantage of Epirus's fairly weak infantry in this match. If the Carthaginians had more cavalry in this match, it could have turned out differently. GG to both players. I hope you had a good 4th of July, Heir.

In Divide et impera mod health is shown on units during the battle. DEI is just an amazing mod, it perfected Rome 2 vanilla, both campaign/s and battles.. I wish you give some love to this mod and show DEI online battles!

I fought sol invictus last week using an epirus army very close to this one. Sol is so good at decisionmaking it's intimidating.

I would say in order to give them more time to work on the game, you would have to tell the publisher Sega to stop rushing the developers. They nearly killed Sonic with their devastating deadlines.

Now they took away the chat they need to make a Rome 3.

Regarding your thoughts about game development. I am genuinely disappointed and angry with members of the gaming community, who, back in the early 2010s would argue and say that "Oh it isn't that bad, they will fix it with a few patches." It is a sorry state of things if wanting a product to come out complete without bugs or to need constant patching or have day 1 DLC is some strange suggestion. Games, like all consumer goods should be complete and ready when they are sold. People used to say "what? you want these franchises to die? I am till gonna buy the not good enough crap because I love *insert series here* but now we are at the point where so many legacy franchises have had incomplete buggy game after incomplete buggy game and it has diminished the player base and damaged the reputation of that franchise it is sickening. To your note about engine development. The total war crew not working on a ground up engine for Rome 2 is one of the largest reasons the game was so rough at launch. The Warzone engine was designed around 18th century line infantry fighting an the ridiculous amount of work it took to get Shogun 2 to function should have been a sign that for Antiquity they needed a nee engine. Instead they shat out Rome 2.

Can't believe we miss again half of the battle while rambling about how and when to release games... The point was clear, everybody got that, and could have been 3 sentences....
