I have used renacon back in 2018.As per weight and cost it is okay specially in muddy/ marshy areas like kuttanad...For cement block the weight is high compared to this and 2 cement blocks takes the place of 1 aac block and the cost is somewhat similar..There are many companies now making aac blocks and and i have used that too but as per water absorption value this renacon is good than others..But a problem with renacons design is that the side of the block is smooth and there is no grip ,so it is much difficult for cement mortar to get stick into the surface .What i did is we made corrugations and grooves on the sides manually to make the cemnt get sticked to the surface... Also it is very good in marshy areas and good for partition( as per me)...it cannot be used to hold much weight straightly other than beam and pillar structure... Reduse crack use 1.2 meter apply 2 steelbar and 6mm metal concrete rainforcement not use water for setting glue .water is the problam for Every stage of construction
