The Baghjan Blowout and what followed thereafter till the well was finally controlled has become one of the most discussed topics in oil & gas sector as well as the media in recent times.
Discovery Channel had deputed their crew and creative team to make a film on the Baghjan Blowout. The film was shot at site during those very tough times with other incidental challenges like following strict COVID protocols and inclement weather conditions.
Finally the film (two episodes) was telecasted in Discovery Channel as well as sister channels of the Discovery network including OTT platform (Discovery Plus) on Saturday and Sunday (13-14 March, 2021).
