I love this so much for you!! *in tears of joy for you*. I’m just gonna say John is all of us when eating hot yummy food 😂 and you can go ahead and kick kikkoman to the curb. There are so many soy sauces out there that are deeper in flavor.

Those baby pics! You are so adorable! I just can't. I don't know much about my native culture. I've been wanting to learn more too. Good luck on your Asian journey. 💜💜

Love this nice lil story. Hopefully u find what u r looking for. My aunt and uncle were adopted by my grandparents back in the 50's when they were told they could not have kids well 10 years later my mom popped out. Lol. But i have asked them before if they ever knew anything about there birth moms and nothing at all. They were both giving up at newborn and my grandparents came to the rescue. They dont have any desire to seek out anyone either. We r their family.

Your so adorable as a kid, well now too of course. Thanks for sharing this with us. Your so blessed to have been wanted by your family. Not everyone is. I knew my birth mother but she hated me, never wanted to be a mother and left when I was a kid. I know it’s hard not knowing more about your culture n can’t imagine what it’s like to feel like you don’t fit in either “crowd”. You are so special and LOVED and WANTED. There’s many of us who had our birth families, but were thrown away and no one else wanted us. So many of us don’t escape our childhoods unscathed. Many “parents” should not have qualified to have kids, but that’s another topic. Bottom line is, regardless of the circumstances, none of us like feeling unwanted or that we don’t belong, especially as social creatures. I think your amazing and pray that one day you are able to have those questions answered that you so desire. 🙏😊🥰

😂 girlllll… sounds like Maangchi! She’s the go to for Korean cuisine. Dark and light soy sauce typically mostly depends on color, buuuut I noticed it also depends on culture. Like to some Filipinos, Dark Soy Sauce is actually Sweet Soy sauce lol😂 I gotta watch Palin’s kitchen again to remember fully bc she explained it and I was still confused

Looks like you made beef noodle soup, 😋. That’s the noodle I would use to make the noodle soup.

Light soy sauce is more common and used for seasoning and dipping. Dark soy sauce is thick and sweeter than light. I love what you are doing!
