Ocado Cheadle Hulme They load the van for you also if you work for Morrisons you have to go back to the yard to load up and deliver more for the day if it’s just Ocado van then your finished after delivering everything. They also say you can finish early but that’s impossible going up to wales and Lake District to deliver food with traffic you also have a camera recording you in the van
These supermarket Delivery driver jobs would be perfect if, the customer shoppings were loaded up by warehouse/store staff by the time you arrive for your shift. And on the second round, same situation, van is loaded, whilst you are on break. And by the time your break finishes, the van is loaded up with customers shopping for you to begin the second round of delivery. That would be ideal scenario for supermarket delivery driver job!!
They are preloaded for the driver by the warehouse staff all the driver needs to do is do the vehicle checks and scan there orders, all the hard work is already done for them lol
Yes but never on time. You could come in early and you cant even do your van checks as you have to wait to be allocated a van. I've had multiple days where I came in 30 mins+ early to get a head start to find that my van wasn't loaded. I must have been waiting over an hour for my van to be loaded which already meant I was 30-40 mins late going out.
@@randallflagg9498 im currently applying to a bunch of delivery driver jobs, never done delivery driving, but hopefully someone sees potential in a 21 year old whose been literally all over the place job wise
I had a training day after around 4 months as they said i was too slow. Went out with the trainer on one of the easiest route that you could do and was told i was doing nothing wrong. The day after they sacked me.
Horribly stressful job. I worked at Sheffield Spoke. Their runs could be over 200 miles a day you're coving with over 40 drops. Sat navs were appaling. Never again. I work for ASDA now and they're superb.
@@nafisrahman5791 not at all. They provide you with all the training needed. To be fair their driving training is pretty good. They have advanced driving instructors teaching you.
@@nafisrahman5791idk about Ocado, Asda, Morrisons but i work for Tesco as delivery driver but you have to take a test all u need is a manual lisence for 1+ year and u good
