Episode 1 Making Frames

Hi Alan, Wallpaper paste is probably better and it has bin on my mind. My concern though was using a waterbased glue. I use my beltsander to strip of the paper and that works fine

Mike, I am not concerned about screwing in to plywood end grain, as I over the years has developed a fastening technique for materials like plywood and MDF plates. I will show you later how you can do this without causing de-lamination in the plywood, but the principle is, using the material in its strongest direction. I hope that I with this channel can create an Riva Aquarama boat building network, as I believe there is lot of people out there, sharing my admiration for this particular boat - a hard to reach collectors item which in my case, is beyond my economically capabilities. Having that said, I also like to get my selves involved in the building process, which will be a great part of the fun.

Thank you for you comment Edwin, I know it seems obvious the have parts CNC cut, but I want to demonstrate to my viewers, that you can build a boat at home, using very basic tools. So I didn´t even look for company nearby which potentially could cut them. After all it took only 10 hours to cut them with a jigsaw. I hope you will stay tuned.
