My 2022 Ford Maverick XLT has finally arrived after an 11-month wait, and I can't wait to begin the process of turning this amazing little pickup into a great, all-around hunting/fishing/camping vehicle and daily driver!
Hey Christian, l just got my Maverick January 3rd. Yours is configured very similar to mine with the FX4 and max tow. Looking forward to see what you will do.
I have a Maverick on order I am buying it for the same reason. Don't want to spend a bunch on gas going back and forth to hunting spots. Can't wait to see what you have planned
Thanks man! The Maverick will. have its limits for sure, but it's a cool, fun truck, and I think it'll get the job done. It can haul my trailer with my side by side, so I can take the truck as far as it'll go and use the SxS to go deeper if and when needed!
Hi Christian glad you started the channel! Fellow hunter and Maverick owner too. Thanks for mentioning the finer points of a budget truck. The overlooked spec in the little box is the bed wall depth. I put my 20” tall 115qt cooler in the back under the tonneau cover! Try that with a Tacoma or Frontier. I pull 34mpg at 70 mph to my 160 mile hunting destination. Little truck has been a beast for the last 13,600 miles. No issues at all. Looking forward to your content, good luck and thanks for sharing.

Awesome man. The waiting between the time my truck was built and when it arrived at my dealer was exactly one month. That was the hardest month of the entire 11-month wait. Hope yours gets here soon!
Have you checked in with Ford Customer Service (toll-free number or online chat) or your dealer lately on the status of your order? If you had a 2022 order that was rolled to 2023, you need to do certain things to ensure it is still in line to be built.
Nice looking truck! I ordered a 2023 xlt hybrid, when the ordering banks were open in sept. Now don't think I will get it, with supply shortages, on the hybrid.
Same here but I’m not going to change my order or upgrade the trim. I’m betting that some group Or class action suit will be successful in getting Ford to honor our orders by 2024.
Yeah, hybrid orders are kind of a crap shoot. Stay tuned to my channel, maybe you'll change your mind and go for an Ecoboost. Ford is now allowing folks to change engines on their orders, so if you decide you'd rather get a Mav sooner maybe that's an option for you...
@@themaverickhntr I’m not giving up.Just because you go to an eco boost doesn’t mean the XL will come. Only 11% will be XL and only 35% hybrid. So to really have a good chance I need to order an XLT WITH LUXURY PACKAGE AND THE ECOBOOST
I got my Maverick FX4 the day before thanksgiving. Congratulations to you. So far I have gotten the windows tinted, stubby antenna and tail gate strut installed. If you are thinking about a lift, looking into flat out suspension. They do a lot of Subaru stuff, but they came out with a line of stuff for the Maverick and Bronco Sport. Can’t wait to see more videos.
Ordered a xlt hybrid 11/14/2021 with only a sliding rear window, hitch, 400w inverter and bed extender. 9/17/2023 Ford made us reorder as a 2023 and recently Ford wants us to add packages but I refuse and will roll the dice. Hopefully I get it sometime in 2023 but if not oh well. I wanted to use in my small contracting business.
I had an 11-month wait, so I know the pain. I also know lots of folks like you have been waiting even longer than me. I hope Ford builds your Maverick soon!
We may have known them, but perhaps others do not. Remember I am just getting started with this, so as time goes by, I imagine we'll dive into lots of "new" content. Thanks for checking it out!
It's Cactus Gray, and as I post more videos, you'll see how cool this color is. It really changes colors depending on the light. I often see it as green-gray, but other times it looks almost battleship gray and in really bright sunlight I could convince myself it's white. Really enjoying it so far!
