Hands down best discussion done in Nepali podcast till now. I got to listen to such a balanced perspective on world history and current situations. Please continue on this road so that we can get more informed.
Thank you Sushant ji for bringing up such an intellectual person Deepak Gyawali ji to your show. It was almost 2 hours of show but i felt like few minutes cause his every words were so interesting and genuine with logical. Eager to wait to hear his words more in next episode.
@@cheltooktribefreethinker1028 i totally understand your point, he obviously would defend Russia cause he studied there and he went to Ukraine too for his intership or as a part of job so Deepak Gyawali ji obviously has an attachment towards Russia. His points are 100% true but he just pointed out other countries just defending Russia which is a kind of sad part. Russsia invading Ukraine is not right and not acceptable. Both the countries have the political issues from ages but for the present, western countries including USA are the main key players to get Ukraine into this situation, leaving millions of people suffer. Putin is obviously also not a right person. He was a former KGB agent and after the breakdown of Soviet Union, the dirty roles that he played to win the election and his corruption history is all clearly known to the world as well.
@@cheltooktribefreethinker1028 Intellectual person can comment and talk anytime of the day 😉😁 not for everyday dumb guy like u 🤭 who is not aware about the context he is talking and u straight up blame him for siding up with Russia i don't know who u r or ur level of intelligence but I can surely know from ur comment whats ur level of knowledge to call this guy not intellectual u must be dumb and y am I being so aggressively defensive I have no idea may be I can't withstand the criticism of a person who is genuine and spitting out pure gold information and is trying to aware today's dumb nepali like u to be politically aware so that when tommorow danger comes knocking on our soil u be well informed so that u can make informed decision and whoever u r i ain't gonna a reply back and start a commemt battle so 😄 👋
This is the first time I am listening to Sushant Pradhan's podcast. Such an amazing guest you have there. Can you bring him again to enquire more in depth about the fault lines in our civilization. You know, the clashes of civilization and where Nepal would align naturally. Love to hear his critique on likes of Samuel Huntington. Such a knowledgeable guy he is on par with Saurav, Kudos ! You got a subscriber.
This is kind of content, I wished, we had in Nepalese curriculum back in the days. I really hope the education policy and curriculum system include such subjects as basic courses required for matriculation/ graduation. Thank you again for letting us learn and understand from balanced point of view of the subject matter expert.
Really knowledgeable and wise guest who's also impartial and far-sighted. Thoroughly enjoyed this discussion. We desperately need leaders like Mr. Gyawali in power in Nepal right now. Sushant, as always a great interviewer, listening deeply and asking pertinent questions at the right time. Please have Mr. Gyawali more often on your channel.

@@sureshasuresha6520 as a history enthusiast and anthropology student, he is spot on . Could you give some time to explain where did he go wrong ? Plz throw some radical and real light towards it 😃
We need more of these Podcasts!! We don't need political conversations, we don't need those politicians talking same thing over and over, we need to start these kind of debates more!!
He is one of the best intellectuals in Nepal. Loved this talk. In the next session, I humbly request to bring issues like how can we move towards economic revolution or make economic agenda at first in politics, what Nepali youths should understand about the real political system that we have ( is it really democracy so called loktantra) and what should we learn from the cases in the world so our emotions and understanding will not be use for foreign interests. Next from his expertise do you think our Hydro projects are Environmentally sustainable( level of risk with global warming), how country like Nepal can fulfill its energy need independently and sustainably in future. 🙏
Mr. Dipak Gyawali, I have never seen well educated person like you in whole Nepal. You really have allot of knowledge regarding the world, technology, history and philosophy. Thank you Sushant daju for this wonderful talk show where we all can learn something.
I have been listening to your podcast for a while now and i totally love it. Thank you bro for bringing out these intellectual people in the light. It can be so informative to the youth. Keep up the good work.
This gyawali guy has so much understanding of international politics even to understand what he is saying u need to be informed with international news and well as history to connect the dots
Thanks for such a worthy discussion and my question is how can nepal be prosperous , what are the sectors we can explore to achive economic stability i don't see any capital intensive project.

Looking closely at the Russia-Ukraine conflict since 2014, this gentleman here spits facts! MIT and Nepal mirroring Ukraine, something we Nepalese need to understand, along with the need for proper leadership. Dang!
Sushant sir can you ask the following things to the deepak sir in the next episode 1. The dark side of America that majorities viewers donot know about 2. How america build the terror/ millitant group in the world for their benefits and why the millitant group will never end. 3. About the nepali people killed by Isis in saudi arab 4. The dark side of famous news channels like bbc , cnn , etc where they only show news in the favour of america and europs 5. About the dark side of politics of nepal 6. About the idologies of communism and capatilism 7. About the non american prospective or ( bin ladine prospective ) of bin ladine in 9/11 8. Why people support maoist ( prachanda ) in the revolution and why they donot support him now 9. Why america interfare in all / majority problems in the world 10. How china or india is becoming the next superpower Please ask these question to deepak sir...
HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? 1. how Nepal can develop industrialization? 2. what kind of campaign should we start to develop our industry? 3. how can we make our marketing management system more effective?
Dipak gyawali does have a very good point but his only downflaw is that he's aligned with a ploitical ideology that has been uprooted and thrown away and needed a massive update. Other than that, he's quite strong and reasonable points.
Plz invite him again talk about just Nepal history and now political situation bro You are doing good job I seen your podcast I'm your big fan you are young guy who love nepal 🇳🇵 so truly brother
The fact that the Nepalese economy stands on this fragile feet of remittances and grants and aids is truly terrifying. I am a student of macroeconomics at university level and to see observe this reality is very frightening and frustrating. Although a follower of Jeffrey Sachs and Abhijeet Banerjee who are in support of aid for its role to eliminate extreme poverty, I feel we need organic base to our economy. Where are our industries? Are products of Nepalese farmers even getting a market? What to we have to trade. The day when flow of remittances stop or grants shrink, Nepalese economy will have to knee before current account deficits. The drastic inequality in the urban cities are so a reality. For instance, the inequality in the city between people who are generationally wealthy or having their relatives living in the US or Europe and people who are genuinely trying to make a living by working is very less talked fact yet a very sad one.
the build up with global affairs and geopolitics to finally end with Nepali context was awesome. The podcast ended just when the talking points were hitting home. Should have gone for 4 or even 5 hours to do justice to the intro and mid talks. Love your podcast. I see Nepali JRE on the horizon.
Questions: 1. How long until, Nepal ceases to exist? Both in definition of a failed state as well as/ or physically? If it fails, who would be the key player? in terms of either managing Nepal, softly(not that it isn't now..hehe) or taking major chunk of land. 2. Is Nepal's and Nepali's future , at the present scenario, nowhere but to migrate elsewhere? OR How long until Nepali people become global migrants, given the state of the country in terms of : economy, climate change and mere survival and existence. 3. Whomsoever comes to power, Nepal will remain the same. Your take on this. ( Bewastha badliye, janata ko awastha badliena.... Aakhir ma, chalne bhaneko MAALIK ra DATRI nikaya le je chahyo tei hune ho) 4. Isn't it high time that Nepal, if it still exists, focus its energy and resources, primarily on the happiness and basic amenities like education, food and health? I mean, it is not like we are going to be a production country anytime soon, given the state of "Bollocks policy making, bad governance and weak to no implementation of even good policies which actually benefit the common man. 5. We all have been hearing what potential Nepal holds from childhood. So, how do we achieve these potential? 6. Decentralization of power has been quoted as a roadblock for our setbacks as a nation. Given the state of the provincial government( you will not even find the presence, when you go looking for them), and how it has become a "BHARTI KENDRA", why do you think it should/shouldn't exist in context of our nation? 7. We often hear how the three pillars of democracy should exist in harmony for a smooth functioning country. But as a common man, these very 3 pillars viz. Judiciary, Executive and Legislative, are blatantly corrupt and incompetent. The three always point fingers to each other. How much systematically corrupt is the executive in our nation. In an ever changing array of ministers and governments, it seems, as an outsider, the bureaucrats are actually the ones who are directing this country, be it to water or to a cliff. How true is this? 8. How is this country surviving without any major industrialization , excluding the labour export industry and trading industry? No wonder, there is a scarcity of JOBS, and even if a person finds one, it can't even sustain him let alone his family. 9. Your example on the British, taking cotton and re-selling it as Shirts, is quite similar to, having to sell grains to India and India re-selling the grains back to us at higher price. Can nothing be done, in terms of at least a few percentage of self sufficiency? and regarding providing of a basic backing and a guarantee market to a farmer? 10. Yedi, sachikkai, Nepal ko bhawishya garo cha, being a poor country to begin with and all, Desh bechidiye bhai-halyo ni ta. Purchasing power badera janthyo, cost of living ghat-thyo. Essai, pani, majority population has already shifted to different nations, or is keen to leave or shift, given the conditions at Nepal and the subsequent generation from them, is going to be a foreign citizen. India ma 1 Nrs parne saman excluding those that are heavily taxed, Nepal ko major cities ma pugda 20 NRS paprcha. Eka tira industry create garera domestic market matra cater garyo bhane, Nepal lai faida hunna pani bhanne, arko tira full on consumption ra consumerism tira janey,,,,,, In a way, herney ho bhaney, we are fully dependent on India, China and International Doners..... Yedi desh bechnai paryo bhane, kati bhaag ma ra kasari bechne raichan kunni? hahah.... 11. Buda-pakha le Jun jogi aaeni kan nai chireko essai bhanda rainachan....What is your take on this? PS. Espali ko chunab le ni sayad HUNG PARLIAMENT ra political instability nai dincha..... politics instable hune bittikai, multiple players haru le aafulai faida hune game khelna thalchan......heheh
Questions: 1)How can Nepalese economy can sustain in between the two biggest economies China and India in long term? Talk about geo politically and based on local economy. 2) Basically after analysing this election results what will be the direction and the condition of Nepalese politics in next 10 years?? Should we have any hope ????
