This is the heartbreaking fruit of someone that has been deceived and hurt by others. The source of his beliefs is himself, not Christ. The cancellation of Jesus even from his own lips proves his self-deception, making it clearly ok for himself to sin willfully. Praying for Mr. Avery Wilson to see clearly and receive Jesus. “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭

Just started watching, but I have NEVER heard Avery sing a Gospel song, despite the Gospel singing influences in his vocal arsenal, and he sings everything... so I am surprised he identifies as a Christian. I am not at all surprised he grew up in church, I already figured based on his singing, but can be very different from remaining a Christian

This is blasphemous on so many levels, but I believe that it also is a direct result of the black church, preaching devotion, and not sound doctrine, or sound ideology, especially popular pastors, until most Christians couldn’t even articulate the core tenants of being a Christian.
