I love white lily for biscuits too! Thank you for the tip about adding baking soda to the lard. Granny and Pap always made lard, but we didn't know to add the baking soda, it was still great but the fluffiness would make it better for cakes and things. And wow how white it looks in the jar!
You could see before they hit the oven those biscuits were very tender. Best piecrust ever made, is with homemade lard. Really enjoyed that thank you. Great looking family Granny!
