If you haven't played here, you are missing a great golfing experience, absolutely fantastic, I live across the Forth, but if I lived in Fife, this is where I would want to be a member
One of the less well known gems of the Fife coast. A real test of golf, beautifully laid out, and views from every hole. Can't wait to try Dumbarnie next door. Hoping to play both it and Lundie next year.
One of my favourites. Once got deafened by an RAF Buccaneer who was doing attack runs on ships out in the firth, was standing over a 4ft putt for par had a 12 footer coming back.
Great video Andy..... Lundin was my last game of golf before lock down. Loved it. A lovely course and would like to play it again one day... you had much better weather than us!! Played the old course the day before and I loved this as a course just as much! Keep making these great videos...thanks for another awesome one.
Another stunning course. I cannot tell you how much of a joy I get in your style of editing; be it the musical choice, description of the course, etc. And lastly, without question the amazing fashion in which your wife captures the shots....the angles; subject matter, and overall cinematography. Nothing other RU-vidr has your style....Period!
You did it again Andy! Been almost 40 years since I left Scotland for Canada, and this series has me choked up. You are capturing the essence of the game and settings that are forever part of me! Thank you and keep up the amazing content (if you can!)
Tremendous video series, so sad you do not get the views you deserve. How golf courses should be represented and presented, I want to play them all!! Cheers, and good luck.
Another great video of a super course. Whoever had the idea of sticking those hidden burns out there is a sadist. Interesting contrast with the offshore oil platforms just off the coastline and the giant wind turbines just down the coastline. A little something for everyone.
Nice one Andy , you putted well to be fair !! That ditches is a great feature !! I think more courses should have them !! Its a course I’m well aware of and is on my list for sure , and Leven links next door looks good 👍
I think the burns are a great defence especially when the discussion is about courses being too short, these kind of defences make strategy a part of the game.....although mine went out the window!
I’ve played this course two times, it’s a great traditional Scottish Links. Last time we played was during a hot spell and the greens were really fast and too tough. It’s a great course great lay out with some tricky holes hopefully we will get up there again to play.
And again another great video . Not much else to say that I haven’t said before. I’m really enjoying watching your videos thank you for your time and energy in putting these together.
How could you not love this course 2nd Fairway is were it started for me and didn't disappoint as the vlog went on what a lay out it has everything, Andy all these hidden Gems will you put them in order one day or put them in groups of 4 so we can check these out because these are all in my plans for next year, once again Thankyou you've done the course proud ⛳️
Bit of golf architecture trivia for you: The Leven hole template is based on the 16th at Lundin. It's a great design; better to approach from the right side, but the further right you go, the longer the carry over the burn. So do you lay up short and have a longer approach, do you bail left to have a shorter approach from a worse angle, or do you go for it?
Passed this course many a time, but never played it. I've played Kinghorn, Burntisland and Crail round about it. I'm going to make a point of getting up there this year tho..(& also make a point of reading the course planner) 😂
@@TheAverageGolfer building up a nice list thanks to you! Played Crail though, lovely course, great greens, and was a member of the Dukes for a season, a championship quality course that is much underused.
Awesome And!..... After all these great courses, some of which I've played, why don't you arrange a 5/7 day trip next year when we re hopefully out of lockdown?.... Put my name down first obvs 🤪..... Great stuff tho mate, keep them coming. R
Stay in Edinburgh and drove past the course lots of times always thought it looked brilliant, it’s on my list but I think dumbarnie is top of that list at the moment.
I paused the video and I'd say since you have been burning the edges of the cup chances are you'll walk away with par. But never or less I'm pulling for you to make this. Now let's see.
