We stopped in Carrabelle for a couple nights when the C/G near the Gulf was reporting 8 foot seas, got a room at the boat club, partied most of the night, slept in left the marina around 9am after checking the water with Coast Guard, after several rough days the water was flat, we fueled and split for Reddington Beach in the Tampa area. Went went basically down a straight line from Carrabelle to Redington, without so much as a hiccup in the big Bertram 43, wonderful trip. We were not doing the loop, we left Destin, did the IC until we went into Carrabelle for fuel and beer. Those were the days indeed.
