Good idea but it was more France 1940 vs germany 1942 here. The germans didn't had the long 50mm, no long 75mm and only a few short 50mm. It means that Pz4 F2, Pz3 J, Marder 3 are not supposed to be allowed. It should be PzII, PZIII E & F, PzIV C & E, Pz35 & 38(t), some rare StuG III A, Panzerjager I
@@matiaslatapiat7152 I think you are confusing Marder1 with Panzerjager 1. Marder 1 are based on french's tanks (stolen AFTER the defeat of France) with Pak40 gun or stolen Russian 76.2mm. Both of those guns were not available in 1940.
Panzer III j1, yeah ofc a 1942 modernisation is historically accurate... Germany should have some panzer IV, a lot of early panzer III and panzer II, some panzer 38T, and nothing able to be a danger to the 1bis (no wide spread of heat and no apcr for the short 50mm). And is that a panzer IV-f2 at 4.49, are you kidding me?!!!! Yeah, at this point, just give france the sherman and both arl44...
I think yo've missed that the British also had it's forces in the battle of France (so the allies could use Hurricanes etc.), but overall a GREAT video and a GREAT series:)
also missed the fact that there was no panzer III-j1, no panzer IV f1/f2, way more panzer IIs, and a lot of other things. Germany winned thanks to a very risky gamble that payed off and because france doctrine (and everyone else really) was outdated and by develloping their "blitzkrieg" on the work of colonnel Charles Ge Gaulle (yeah the De Gaulle you think of).
@@tigerbesteverything There were Panzer IV F1s. F2 and J1 didn't exist at the time so it's accurate. Not to mention Germany had a massive hupper hand because they could use bombers with massive bombs (SC2500), and HEAT, wich just negates the armor of French tanks
@@arthurbousquet6838 first german heat was developed mid 1940 (and only penetrated up to 45mm), so no heat (only one would be the brandt desiganted HI 38/97 captured from the fench). And panzer IV F are developed mid 1941.
Amount of historicly unnaccurate facts in this video: 1. The germans had les tanks than the French 2. The amount of panzers 3 and 4 was almost the same as the amount of the amount of the B1 bis 3. The panzer 3J and panzer 4 F2 didn´t exist in 1940 4. All the marders did´t exist becouse they where made of captured french and russian verhicles and canons
We get closer to seeing what the Neubaufahrzeug land battleship may have been capable of when it saw combat in Norway and a few other places including fighting the British.
Really good idea and very high quality of the video and would make German mains rant about how Germany should have won in like 2 minutes. But this is indeed a case of 1940 France vs Germany 1941-1942. The Germans should not have a Marder, any Panzer 3 at or above the ausf.J, Any Panzer 4 at or above the Ausf. F1. Rather it should have mostly Panzer 2 Ausf.C, a decent amount of Panzer 3 Ausf. E, a mix of Panzer 4 Ausf.E and C, a sprinkle of StuG III Ausf.A and a bit Panzerjager 1. For France, it is very accurate but there can be some improvements such as not having the SAu 40, mostly H.39 and H.35. There can be a few R35 (SA38) and FCM 36 due to the rarity of the upgunning of the R35 and the rarity of the FCM 36. There should be a decent amount of the Somua S35 and a handful of Char B1 bis. But I still think you make easy 10/10 content on youtube and you are the only youtuber I know that makes this level of content :) Edit : If you want more historical accuracy, the Germans cannot have any APCR or HEAT and the French has to carry mostly HE and a few AP but realistically for some French tanks HE isnt avalaible so just take full AP
@@ThunderWithMuffin I thought you would do one of the lesser known battles their was one on France which was the biggest tank battle of the time I forgot the name of the battle but look at LCM brick show
