One day, a young man named Ultraman Regulos washed up on the shore of D60, having lost all memories except for his name. Recognizing his talent, Master Alude took Regulos under his wing and began to teach him the legendary Cosmo Beast Style, said to be the strongest martial art in the universe… This is the story of his fierce battles.

Ok, so the guy at the end is obviously the one who’s gonna teach Regulos the Flaming Red Dragon Fist, judging by the emblem on his forehead, and Dias is for sure Diavolo, considering his arm stance. So far, both episodes is making me more and more excited

This episode does a good job at demonstrating how powerful the Magma guys are(IK they're recurring villains I just haven't seen alot of shows they appear in), and probably how Regulos is gonna master the Cosmo beast fist with the dude at the end teaching him

Really had me stretching my head how they could take out Planet L77, one of the planets of the Ultra race, since they're actually not, in the grand scheme of things, one of the more stronger foes in all the other shows. This shows that actually *yes* they are that powerful.

Knowing that Regulos winds up being imprisoned by the Absolutians for many years believing Leo and Asta to have died in the Magma Seijin's onslaught of Planet L77 really gives that sense of relief when he eventually finds out after so long that Leo and Asta survived. The Magma Seijin in most series and perhaps even in Leo were standard run of the mill seijin messing around while overshadowed by other big bads. But I guess those guys are nothing compared to the elites that have conquered planets. As for Dias, as if his looks weren't giveaways the way he fights certainly gives it off as well. Although it could be because he has been practicing that buffalo fist style for a long time but he is definitely who we eventually know as Diavolos.

Especially considering, even though we didn't get to see it in this series, Astra looked *very* different from what we know him as. He actually had horns like Leo, and they were "sawed" off. That's why Regulos didn't recognize him at first when they reunited.

it feels like a Chinese or Hong Kong movie where the master was always poisoned, and the main guy has to go revenge! (Fist of Fury lol) btw, Ultraman Leo used martial arts because of the popularity in Japan of Bruce Lee's movies including Fist of Fury. One of the reason Leo is called Leo is because of Bruce LEE

No. He's a New Generation ( or whatever the current era is ) Ultra, showa era only applies to Ultras who debuted during the Showa era, that is from 1966 - 1989, so even if an Ultra is from the same universe/ continuity as the showa Ultras, but they debut after the showa period ala Mebius , Zero, they do not count as showa Ultras .

Regulos *does* come from the same Universe as the Showa Ultra (and Ultraman Mebius and Hikari), but it's due to time displacement that he's part of the New Generation. That's what he meant by "in a way I'm a Parallel Isotope." Every universe in the Ultraman series has its own "pace of time" (meaning years in one universe can be seconds in another universe). The time Regulos spent in the universe housing the Kingdom is significantly shorter than the time he spent gone in the Showa Universe. That's why he's so much younger than Leo and Astra, even though they should actually be around the same age. Regulos is meant to be a bridge between the Showa era and the Reiwa era (Or the New Generation).

He's already an Absolutian, so he doesn't become one, he just gains more power thanks to Tartarus I'd assume. If not, then I guess he would be picked up by Tartarus like w/Belial & Tregear. Also, I agree that Dias is Diavolo but not that he is in disguise. It's probably his early style because his betrayal and killing of Master Allude is coming up very soon.

I'm intrigued that Regulos is an Ultraman who knows Kung Fu. Planet D60 is lucky to survive the Magma Alien attack because of the Cosmo Beast Fighters. I'm beginning to see that it wasn't just one who destroyed Planet L77, but Ultraman Leo survived.
