ABOUT ME AND THE MARFAN WARRIOR PODCAST
I was born with Marfan Syndrome, a potentially life-threatening, rare genetic connective tissue disorder. In August of 2021, I had a spontaneous aortic rupture and I had to have emergency open-heart surgery to replace the torn section of my aorta with a prosthetic as well as a bypass and stent inserted into my descending aorta. During the operation I had a type of near-death experience, and as a result I went through a spiritual awakening following the operation.
I have decided to document my story and start this podcast. In addition, I will focus on the many aspects of healing and talk about my own life-long healing process, as well as talk to other warriors about their chronic and invisible illnesses and healing experiences. From time to time, I will also invite guests onto the podcast who are well-versed in various healing modalities such as meditation, psychotherapy, physical therapy, Reiki, quantum healing, and theta healing, just to name a few.
