Outstanding! I have many times found that for whatever reason that after a crash and rebuild it flys like a charm!!!??? I have always been a little apprehensive about the 104 until I watched your redemption flight.. and yes its always about the landing!! Didn't know about counterfeit receivers! How did you manage to get one of those!!?

No I'm ascared to watch.. i put my 190 in pretty hard a couple days ago but will rebuild. Presently rolling an SU 30 sweet, F-15, mig15 , Trojan, 2 P-51s mk14 spit ect... Its addictive . Fatshark FPV making my own gimbal mounts anyway yeah you've got me sold on the 104 . Looks like another throttle management bird for the landing just like the Su30??
Lol!!! That’s a great line up!!! I think everyone has to have a T-28 in the hangar lol!!! The F-104 certainly does take throttle management to the extreme!!!
Thank you!! Lol yeah, you’ll pancake to pogo every time you force them down. But as they say, a good landing is one you can walk away from, but a great landing is one you can still use the airplane again. So I guess it was a great landing 🤣🤣🤣
@@thercjetjock6571 Have had 2 flights one landed in the jungle> I think the elevator was too sensitive. Second flight was better but difficult to turn. Also it has a FMS EDF in it on second flight and crazy fast.
Ahh yes the elevator is quite effective!! I believe I had my rates at 40% and still had plenty elevator lol!! Difficult to turn, as in large turn radius? FMS makes great EDFs!! I love the FMS 8s unit in ourT-45.
The real starfighter planes had a reputation as a widow maker... it had numerous crashes. In the German Air Force about 1/3 of the original 900 starfighters crashed...
