Such an interesting listen! I thought Rob Koehler's statement was so important - "You don't have athletes very often deciding that they can't wait to grow up and take drugs and cheat... There's usually people around them who are helping, enabling and, at times, forcing them to dope." I also agree with Meagan's point that this was a hit the sport didn't need.

I imagine it's a pain in the ass to remember to update your whereabouts, especially while traveling, and it may seem overly harsh to get in trouble for forgetting to do it for mundane non doping related reasons (like spending the night somewhere else), but it's impossible to prove whether such a violation was intensional to avoid testing after taking drugs or just negligence. You cannot advocate for both leniency in missing tests and raising the allowed threshold of detection of drugs to protect people who took contaminated suplements and tested positive with the equally small amount as intensional dopers who haven't flushed the drugs out of their bodies yet. How are you gonna punish cheaters who are a part of a well organized doping operations and are now rarely caught, If you let everyone pass tests with more drugs detected and also let them miss testing.
