First, your stitching is awesome, 2nd, the way you keep organized with all your projects totally amazes me and third, I am so happy that your change in eating habits has brought such wonderful results, you are one awesome lady that I fell so privileged to virtually know. I completely understand trying to work on a piece that is frustrating! Once I start ripping out stitches I then put the project away for a while. Your WIPs are always so beautiful! And you look marvelous!!!

Hello Dena Gingers portrait is stunning as is your sampler. Personally I would not add to the sampler it’s about your beautiful stitching the balance is secondary. I have a piece that I was trying to finish for Christmas last year and had three places where I decided to fudge it but everything was so off that I decided to start over on another piece of fabric sometime in the future. At first I didn't notice the extra spacing .. but I agree w another comment about hanging it as is for awhile and seeing if you're OK w it. I fear it would prob bother me after awhile ... I like your idea of a plaque being attached to help break up the extra space. It would then make it look like it was meant to be that way from the get-go. Hope your hubby gets good news from the Dr & his calf injury isn't as bad as originally thought. Enjoy the rest of your week! 😊

Dena...loved your finished and framed projects...a plaque would help its balance or maybe a couple of stitched flowers attached...so sorry about your husband's calf muscle...thanks for all you shared including Mr. Frog...that is just part of stitching...after years of battling bald hair spots...I found Collagen( type 1 and 3)with vit C and Biotin has restored the bald spots...best wishes to you both❤❤

I’m so happy for you. Thank you for sharing when cross stitch gets frustrating for you. I look at floss tubers and wonder why don’t they make mistakes like I do. Then I feel bad. Now I don’t feel so bad about myself although I’m sad that it comes bc you made a mistake…..

Dena, Congratulations on the success you're having in improving your health. Since I turned 50 a couple years ago, I'm finding that I am struggling with my weight more than I ever have before. I also thought you had lost weight but remembered what you had said in a previous video so realized you had started dieting! Well done, you look great! I think a plaque would be perfect to hide the difference of the space. Otherwise the frame and piece looks gorgeous! As for having a bad day of stitching oh yes but i am stubborn and will sit until i have found the mistake !! And restitch ! Once i did stitched it three times and frogged three times until i got it right! Tks for sharing all your news! Take care!!!

I love your stitching and yes I do struggle with some of my pieces- especially with the borders. I have two current pieces where I have had to take out 2/3 of each boarder and restitch them twice. You always look wonderful! Before you brought the subject up, I was admiring how your jewelry and your top matched so well and looked so flattering. We are about the same age, both have high blood pressure and diabetes. Every time I brush my hair, I have more on my shirt or in my brush than I have on my head! I've had my heart checked and, praise the Lord, so far so good. You are an inspiration in so many ways. Thank you for being a good role model for all of us girls!

Congratulations on your weight loss. I too have had similar issues and had hair loss. Once my vitamin k was low and the last time it was D. You might want to check your vitamin levels.

I was told to lose 25 lbs for my barrets esophagus and am having a hard time even though I have not been able to eat so many things. Bald is as you say just fine, it’s not chemo related etc.. Girl someday I hope we can meet in person we do have plans to rv down that way as we want to go see pensacola again as we lived there in 86 maybe. Hmm have to ask hubby. Lol I was wanting to finish totem my full coverage by may 29th but highly doubtful. So nit his bday but maybe our 47th anniversary in July. Well know love that multicolour stained glass windowpane top! We have very few stores that aren’t chain stores here so I never find different itsems.
