This video includes a couple of trips to Anacortes, to inspect our boat. We need to make sure the dock lines and canvas survives the winter storms. In addition, we like to check on the moisture level of the interior. We also run the engine, to reduce the chance of corrosion.

Thanks for sharing. Love Cape Sante Marina. We visit the area often from our home in Green Bay, WI. We have family in Anacortes. Great place to sail.

We've been there with our current boat since 2000. We even sailed an earlier boat out of that marina in the 1960's. It's close to our favorite islands!

Looks good! I'm jealous that you can run your engine periodically in the winter (mine is on the hard). Question: does your anti-siphon valve (under the head sink) spit out a little water whenever the engine runs? Or does it stay completely dry regardless of engine rpm?

It stays bone dry. We bought the boat new in 1996 and after 25 years, the valve started leaking. It then took a couple of years to find the leak. However, after replacing the valve, it has not leaked a single drop.
