It would be helpful to show the place names printed onscreen as the video moves pretty quickly from place to place. Thanks!

No need to post any names - just follow the route, always hugging the coast using the secondary route (never any highway), and you will not miss anything - and you'll see everything. In my opinion, having done the Gaspe 3 times now, the best time to travel downriver from Quebec to Perce, is mid-August onward, as the crowds usually have begun to thin-out. Some motels and hotels start dropping their prices. Essentially being a 'maritime region', the weather is usually much more 'settled', as opposed to June (where you can see a lot of rain) and July (which can sometimes be a 'mixed bag' of weather also). The video, albeit nice, really only 'skimmed the surface', as there is so much more to see. There are some tourist information 'kiosks' that have a wealth of free information - maps, small booklets of the whole region, brochures (info on hotels, campgrounds, deep-sea fishing, hiking trails, federal and provincial parks, etc., etc.). Usually the people (or person that staff these (provincial) info centres can speak some English and many brochures & info booklets are also available in English. Whenever I went to the Gaspe (or along the North Shore ('Cote Nord')), I always found that an extra 3-5 days (and sometimes even a week extra) was more 'ideal' in terms of time-line and not being so pressed to drive to the next potential interesting area. There are so many areas of the Gaspe that will literally 'take your breath away'!

Thanks for the video ... have you seen the Chic Chocs mountains ( the Rockies of the east ) ? Quebec is underrated and BC + Alberta overrated.
