Third row: My old Prado has a removable 3rd row and I never used them, they live in my garage where I have lots of space.. Then they forced them into the floor of the boot in newer models which gave up a lot of space if you don't want them, a deal breaker for me. Removable side mounted 3rd row is exactly what I personally want--so each to his own!

You don’t get it do you with the rear seats. They are ideally suited to remove yet don’t compromise floor space & vehicle weight. Notably if fitting drawers etc. Thanks Toyota for getting it right.

no! driving the rear wheels not the frontwheels. pls guys the editorial team is getting sloppy, first u guys let slip that the lexus Lx was based on a Prado. Please peeps if you want to be taken serious pls ensure ur attention to detail ,is such.

Correct, and apologies for the error. Meant to say 2WD, underscoring the point that it's not a permanent all-wheel drive setup.

no! hes wrong! its a rear wheel drive on a paved road and 4wd on unsealed roads and has low range. in 2wd its rear wheel drive

And you drove 7 hours to Sani Pass for 30 sec off-road scene? Why didn't show more of it?

The trip to Sani was ostensibly to film the special edition Land Rover Defenders, which you can see here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a-W8x2WjpKo.html Most Fortuners will see a mix of off & on road, and we felt an on road focused test was more applicable.

funny looking...not nice to drive? flawed? if it was remotely true the Fortuner would not have broken all sorts of records in terms of sales. I work for Jaguar Land Rover Canada and at more than triple the price of a Fortuner, it's GARBAGE compared to even the old D4D Fortuner. It's sales numbers in India and Australia and in SA suggests it's anything but flawed.
