A Quick look at the Fluke T110 Probe Voltage tester and measuring single and 3 phase power. Dont try this at home without the correct safety gear and knowledge of what you are doing. SUBSCRIBE TO THE CHANNEL HERE / @evioneelectronics
How is possible to measure rotating field by measuring between phase and neutral? Between two phases indicator for rotating field is not active but usually it should be.
+Evione Electronics No - I mean that it is simply not allowed and common to use a Multimeter to check power circuits as Professional Electrician (commercially) .
For love of Jesus Christ! If you aren't educated and experienced electrician with high voltage allowance!! DON'T YOU DARE TO EVEN THING OF TOUCHING ANYTHING INSIDE THE ENCLOSURE!!!
@@Xxxcappie23 wow! Bull's eye!! I'm destroyed!!! Disabled from combat!!! For fuck's sake! Have you ever heard of automatic words finishing? Or how's that evil function named... I give a size of earth fuck of what you say because the point is as far from you as even Hawking can't imagine!
Unfortunately that is an operational workbench. At the time it was the only place I could do the review. We have grown a lot since then and I now use a small office space for my videos.
I still prefer meters that give me the accurate readouts as continuity tests are vital but remember guys continuity of each circuits are done with power off
The ones I used are semi insulated. They just guard against accidental contact and such. I suggest proper insulated gloves and an inspection of your leads and meter before testing any high energy circuits.
+Stratos Vasilas make sure its ac and it displays 230/120v while being connected to both neutral and phase. If it then does not work contact fluke or the retailer.
Rotation only applies to three phase power. To determine phase rotation, you press the probes at two different phases and by holding the plastic body you provide a capacitive coupling to ground. That's how the meter is able to determine the phase sequence without hooking up three wires as the traditional little rotational testers do. When he was measuring from phase to ground the 'L' did light up, but that has no significance, you need to measure phase to phase. Same deal when he was measuring the socket outlet.
@@AfricanSouthernCross exactly. Basically you can touch ie. single detached wire and see if has continuity etc. Tester will show and beep rapidly if has. Obviously useful in ie. 24vdc circuit when checking for ground points etc.
