Bro you have no idea how many much you helped and saved me in Albion online because I was about to quit or take a long break as I had no direction or play style, watching this series was exactly what I needed and now I am enjoying the game again. I sincerely appreciate you brother .
@@VicZaneGaming the main advice for me was to not use my mount as much, now I am not afraid of fights because I’ve been in so many by not taking my mount into camps in the mists at all that I know when to fight or run and I trust that i can run always safely .
Man that's amazing I just watched the 4 videos in a row. That's was so complete. I started the game since 2 weeks that's the best guide i saw. Great job
Brand new player here looking for a versatile weapon to focus on and learn PvP and stumbled upon this video! Excited to get a budget spear setup and take it to the arena for practice.
Nice!! Glad to hear that you're giving spear a try! As a sidenote - arenas are good to get used to spells but if you want to play them more seriously or competitively, then I suggest daybreaker or heron spear as a melee dps option. The 1h spear will be weak-ish in 5v5.
Hey just wanted to say. I gave up on spears awhile ago, but got back into them after watching your videos. Now I'm training them hard and hope to be as good as you one day. Thank you!
Thanks a lot for the guide, it's amazing and for now the best guide i see! 1h spear was my first weapon i try in Albion and i love it very much, but leave it on a dusty shelf for a long time, while trying other weapons. But now, you convince me to switch back to it, because i absolutely love its play style. One thing i want to mention is that food you advise is great, but very expansive for new players, and now i'm thinking about cheaper options. What do you think about budget variants of food, may be roast pork or omelette will be ok?
Thanks and very glad to welcome you back to the spear club!! To clarify about food - every food type has different tiers just like equipment. So you can still use roasted snapper or eel stew, just lower level. Instead of t8, you can buy t6 or 6.1 for cheaper builds, for example.
Discovered you today and have now binged every single video! Please keep it up, been a huge help. Do you stream? I would love to see some of this stuff live!
random new channel, with 4 videos in the same hour o.O That's awesome. Just a tip that I think it could be beneficial in terms of views and subs: you could have separated them into multiple days, announcing in the intro of the videos how many episodes it would be, and reminding to subscribe to see next episodes that would exist in the following days 🤔
Hello ! Im really enjoying all your video, and i started playing spear in mist and loved it because of you! But im still struggeling into kite match up (Bow/Frost) and also vs cursed staff. Did you plan to do a Match up video ? it would be super interessing to see how do you deal versus specific MU. And maybe do a new serie with that ? Thank you :)
Welcome to the spear club!! Glad you like the videos! Yeah I do want to go more over different matchups at some point but probably will be a while before that's ready!
@VicZaneGaming ive been playing and learning spears for 2 days, and ive been getting good progress because of these videos that you made. 600k build with around 2m plus profit is what i got so far, but i still believe that there are match ups that i still dont know yet because i still die often 😅
ty so much this is the best video i have seen made in the last 7 years i will link this to my friends good job respect. cya on EU server i am Noblehouse make some more videos of weapons you are relly good at exsplain so normal people understand what to do :)
Thank you! I've played a decent amount of Heron and Daybreaker but without 1h spear's mobility I felt so limited in most fights :) I'll think more about it.
Thank you!! I really enjoy the heron spear actually but I find it too difficult to make it work in the mists due to lack of mobility. You can get great value out of E when people are chasing you (or in corrupted dungeons sometimes for example) but against most Mists builds I felt like it was too limited with Heron unfortunately. I guess with inner focus and a fiend cowl or helm of valor it could be kind of ok but not sure if it would win a fight without IP advantage.
Hello! i have a question, I've been thinking about it a little and I've noticed through my beginner eyes that 1h spear and dayberaker are kinda similar no? dayberaker has a buff purge which 1h spear lacks, does not consume spear stacks as far as i know and lacks the interruption and speed that spear has. I personally find it more interesting especially because of the purge which feels like it makes it more flexible. So can you tell me your opinion about it as an experienced player?
I like daybreaker a lot! However, unfortunately it does not have enough mobility to be strong in the Mists. You can play it very successfully in corrupted dungeons though! For the mists, the E is wayyy too slow and telegraphed so you will very rarely be able to hit an opponent who isn't standing next to you pretty much. If you do want to try making it work, you probably need a purge on your helmet (or at least duskweaver helmet).
Hello budy, how are you? I saw your guide and was really interested, but I need some help, an opinion, actually. I upgraded the battle axe to 100/100, but as soon as I "started" PvP with it, I felt at an impasse, it seems like I get hit for everything, the weapon doesn't seem to be 100% in PvP. Within that, I became interested in the spear, I understand the problems of the skill curve, etc. But I would like an opinion on this decision. Sorry bad english, google traductor.
Hey man! My opinion of course is that choosing the spear is a great idea because it's very fun and forces you to learn a lot about PvP. But battle axe is also quite strong in Mists PvP. The biggest problem is that good enemies will kite you a lot. It's more one-dimensional than the spear. But if you felt weak on battleaxe then it's probably because you don't yet know a lot about other weapons and how to fight against them. At the end of the day I think it's best to choose based on what kind of playstyle feels better to you. Would you like more flexibility for every fight (spear) or just be a strong brawler (axe).
This made me think actually. I dismissed them a long time ago. I prefer CDR for most scenarios and then play around with other parts of my build to either max cdr or get some tankiness but haven't tried these passives for a while. I feel like together with a torch they would be overkill but for specific matchups where your enemy just wants to stand in one place and let you autoattack them back, it can definitely work. I might take some time to test this out soon.
I thx for every think as guide.. .we are spear lover .. but i always hard time vs browler even if i play as a brawler setup.... This 2 swords too hard for me even with cripple purge on their stacks
Glad you liked it! As for dual swords - yeah, they are quite good at pure 1v1. If you both just click all spells at each other, duals will usually win. Your best bet is to try to avoid brawling after they use E and kite more. One tactic that has worked for me sometimes is to use deflecting spin since their E is quite a bit of damage and very easy to react to.
I really like being constantly ready to fight so I don't change my W between PvE and PvP and generally just use cripple. You could instead use impaler for a bit faster clear.
I like daybreaker a lot but it's difficult to play in the Mists because it has problems with mobility. If you do play it though, I would not focus too much on executing with a daybreaker. This is because your E is both harder to hit AND you will usually need to use it for other purpose such as purging your opponent's boots or defensive skills.
Thank you! No, the first passive isn't worth it at all. It only slows when auto-attacking which you won't be doing much when you are trying to kite anyway. And the slow is very small. Lifeleech is much more valuable!
