On today's episode I tell yall about my failed project, a 1977 Dodge M880. A former military truck, which just a civilian W200 with extra spring in the back. This project got out of hand quick when I was younger, from a Big Block Mopar 440 to completely ridiculous home made suspension.

The "Best" is definitely subjective hahaha but i was definitely hiding it haha, I forgot to mention i stole the 6.17 gears and axles out of it for the Deathcharger haha

Great video, reminded me of the 80's and 90's. Back when you could take a handful of magazines, a bottle of whiskey, bag of weed, and build the truck of your dreams. Then park it behind the wall of shame or along the healing fence lol. Been there and done that, Might as well keep that truck for a future project, you've held onto it this long.

Ah yes! The smell of denial and error! Im glad you made this video. The shit we built back in the day...scary but since im not a pessimist, im an optometrist, i look at the good. Our ambition. I didnt know shit and didnt have youtube as a guide. I relied soley on pontiac and buick forums. In theory...we learn as we go and hopefully build better shit now!

Yeah back then I was un supervised and had big ideas with very little trade knowledge on how to do it. I would get real impatient and just weld crap on haha

@@DuddiesAdventure I hear you. It’s kind a like the topic of my first video on doing fabrication that doesn’t suck. The only way to do fabrication that doesn’t suck is to do fabrication that does. The only way to build 4 x 4‘s that don’t suck. Is to build some that do. 😂😂

first projects are always trial and errors, i myself am just getting into the first gen cummins game and i too have made some errors but i dont mind cause i learn from them, aka, a quick google/youtube search 😂 also enjoying the progress on ur prospector truck, cant wait to see it finished!👍🏻

Never thought to use the t-post driver as a cheater bar; thanks for the idea. I vote to build the M880 after the Prospector. Looks like all you really need is to redo rear suspension and drop in spare parts to make it ranch worthy.

I will use anything that fits over a ratchet handle haha it works well......well enough to break the ratchet haha

This project wreaks of the smell of regret Hahahaha I can see potiential on a Junk yard ranch truck build with a very high potiential of disaster haha Being a comedian or mechnic would be a lot of work and skill, but being consider either one woud be a huge compliant to me.......and a insult to actual comedians and mechanics haha Thanks Bug for the continued support and stay tuned for more sub par content and sarcastic commentary! hahahha

The steering wheel in that truck sure would look good in my wife's 74 Ramcharger though. I say slap all your spare parts on it, it'd be a good place to store them anyway.

Make it 2wd slam it and build a drag truck. You obviously have 4x4s for off road fun. Now explore how much fun the strip is. O and don't think I didn't notice you hurting yourself and the lack of tacos 😕

Well i did cut out the 2wd suspension from the crew cab frame.....I could scab it back on with the same quality that it is currenty built as. Though i do need to do a better job planning Taco runs, I do not plan the pain that happens more often than not......I do need time to heal at some point....
