I would really like to have an app that shows these buildings in the 3D world (in AR) when you point your phone camera at something constructed by BTE community 😍
I can see in the future people will use this world as showing place for kids to learn history or just sightseeing and see this massive world of Minecraft that are resemblance the real world with all significance building and one day there will people found that street where the best meme song started. Owh and can someone explain if I'm not wrong they all build in one world with huge server or they make the moke-up and then render and then paste in the world ????
Currently most building are done in regional teams, and each team typically has their own separate servers. But since all these worlds are generated with the same coordinate system, it is possible to stitch everything together in the end. A continuous, unified singular world is not technologically possible yet
There are regions that have their own servers, for example there is a Southwest America sever that only includes California, Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii. Then there's another server for Canada, another for NW America, and so on. There's also specialized teams for amusement or theme parks too
Buenos Aires pog I actually remember the plaza de mayo from my spanish lessons. In the past the grandmothers of children who disapeered because of the dictatorship went there to demonstrate. (oversimplifyed i guess)
Would you please consider using a font that has a black outline? Because whenever there is a white background, the location or who built it, is unreadable.
