What a sound when the kompressor comes in!

Ooooooh wow.... I think I just fell in love with a new supercharger....... oh that is EPIC! And makes me want to hear in person!

I would suggest that the driver's euphoria has got the better of him during the last few moments of this video.,when he announces in stilted teutonic tones that he is at the wheel of a 1929 SSK , alias White Elephant . His steed is a standard 1928 38/250 SS on a 134" chassis (a similar car to Campbell's famed '"GP 10" ) An SSK on the 116" chassis it is not : neither is it in the customary white livery of an SSK.in White Elephant guise. Admittedly it is possessed of a supercharger . That noise is unmistakable. Perhaps a Grey Giraffe may be more appropriate ?

A magnificent beast, but the compressor is not really for gentlemen.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated central gas station per city. From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any more....:-((

At 02:30 you can actually SEE the car making a jump in accelleration when the kompressor kicks in.
