In this episode, we are in county Cavan to talk to Marian Dempsey who has a full-time business in the heart of her beautiful mixed high forest. The additional features like huts for cover and man-made ponds for biodiversity really make this forest a very inviting place.

Great video Marian. Interesting to hear you have also found our insurers to be an obstacle in educational,environmentally friendly activities within forestry. So much forestry emphasis is on the timber production however some of us including yourself have a far more valuable attitude towards forestry use. Well done..

Marian is a very interesting lady. Forest School events can be found on irishforestschoolassociation.ie. Your kids would love it.
