I live in Memphis and visit Elmwood whenever I can. I have barely scratched the surface of this beautiful place. The evolution of "styles" if you will, of the tombstones is another added lesson of history. It is true, I could spend hours here. It is very peaceful and even though rough neighborhoods surround it, it feels safe and so far removed from the chaos.
