I do have moments of lucidity, like when trying to get into my sleeping bag or putting my trousers on inside the tent - when I think that I should be maybe ‘re-thinking’ my life’s choices - but then the flexibility and sheer thrill I get on two wheels makes up for that.
Glad your doing well Keep going and showing the world what your doing I'm back in Carlisle now as the CRF 250l had an ECT sensor fault and I couldn't get one in Spain ( Grrrr ) If you need anything just shout Do be afraid to shout Ride safe
Hi from Ireland.. As the years fly by I often find myself wondering how long I might be able continue biking. So seeing you on your adventure is a grand inspiration. Thanks and safe travels. Ivan.
Safe travels, loving your videos. We were in Spain and Gibraltar last week and watching your videos brought back lovely memories. Morocco is on or to do list. All the best.
Stoked for you ! Really feel your buzz .. for this trip .. wishing you the best , as the weather fading fast in the U.K it’s great to watch someone enjoying the sun ! We off on a motorcycle camp out this weekend but it’s supposed to pour down .. but it’s better than staying in eh ! Have fun great episode
Lived in Spain for a while. There’s never a moment night and day where dogs don’t bark. So annoying and disruptive. There were some massive villas where I was and clearly very big guard dogs running free
What a journey and what an inspiration to us all. Wish I had the nerve to do as you are. Looking forward to the next instalment. Have fun and take care!
So inspiring, I've just got back into biking after a few years break. Ok I probably won't make the continental trips, but around Suffolk yes indeed. Stay safe buddy and looking forward to the next vid.
Jeezo…! You’re in Suffolk - so just a short hop away you’ve got the ferries to Europe. If I lived in Suffolk I’d be over to Europe every few weeks like a weasel up a drainpipe. Don’t think about it - just DO it…!
Hi from the far north of Scotland /caithness loving you RU-vid got me thinking of going travelling on my motorcycle again ha ha I have been trying to get some of my friends to come but its looking much more fun on your own when you're are over 60 looking forward for your next video oooo see if your can do the ABR festiva looks like fun cheers Brad
Thank you for your videos, my husband and I love watching them. Probably the only way I will ever see Morocco as you cannot streetview. Very impressed with the roads in Morocco so far. Thank goodness your foot has healed somewhat. Safe travels, we will be watching closely.
Great to see you having such a good time. You’re an inspiration. I’m bummed about having to wait a week but excited to see what happens next. Glad you’re able to rest your foot a little while. See you in the next exciting episode.
Seems a missed opportunity to be eating tinned camp food when you could be eating authentic Moroccan dishes at local restaurants. Just my opinion, but I enjoy the way Moroccans use spices, they easily have the best food in N Africa.
The thing is mate, the less I spend on food in restaurants then the more money I have for fuel. It’s a compromise, really. If I stayed in hotels and ate out all the time then I couldn’t afford the mileage. Thanks for your comments, anyway.
Loving your videos, I have a BMW R18 Transcontinental, it's not good for dirt and sand, but I'd love to go to Morroco with it, I'm in the process of making a route, but has to be tarmac, do you think that is doable? I'll be coming from Scotland as well. Safe travels pal. 👍
loving the journey. I’m surprised (don’t know why) by how good the tarmac roads are! i guess further south they get a bit dustier. Always great to meet up with others on a trip though, nice that you can share some of the experience. Waiting patiently for the next update! you’re certainly not missing an indian summer back here in blighty! - certainly not in scotland anyway, turning cold now. 😢
In one of your previous videos you mentioned that your DRIFT camera had died. I also have a DRIFT and it "died" yesterday. however, there is a reset button under the cover beside the SD card. You'll need a paperclip, or something similar, and after giving it a wee poke, the camera came back to life! Try it, it may work. I'm also retired and planning an overland trip. I'd like to go to Thailand next year. I only hope that I won't have to camp! I'd prefer to find a hotel every night. Watching your videos is convincing me to try to make a RU-vid channel with an account of my journey. Good luck and ride safe. "Saludos" from Spain
Cheers mate. Gave that a go but the drift has curled up its tootsies and died. Good luck with planning your trip next year. Thailand is also on my list of to-do's.... Envious. Dont think about it mate, DO IT....
I’m in my sixties and still loving to ride but not sure I would have the guts to do a trip like that! Thanks for taking us along. Take care of your ankle ✊
Some years. back I read Ted Simon /Travels with Jupiter (1970s) on a Triumph Tiger and his follow up book,a brilliant window into what the world was like then.
Living your dream seems so peaceful glad your ankle is healing quickly .I have a question regarding Spain in Jan the snow in the mountains ill bypass the mountains drive to Galician Cantabria appreciate your opinion happy trails
Unbelievable man, came across your video leaving helensburgh and just binged watched them all, I've subscribed so I'm here for the entire trip, watching from Cumbernauld so hopefully I'll bump into you in the summer 24 🥵if you are home by then 😁safe travels and get back to Scotland in one piece 👏👏👏
Well done, congratulations, I went just before covid, on Norton commando.. I caught ferry from Motrel to Al Hoceima,. Make sure you keep the form safe you were given when you got off the ferry. (I didn't!).. haha. Good luck, and hope the foot feels better..
Very motoscenic ride through the back roads of Morocco 🇲🇦 Are you planning on revisiting Merzouga? I went there 50 years ago and probably hasn't changed 🏜Stay Safe and take care of your ankle!
