Great video Chant, maybe you should invest in one of them mini shovels so you can shovel off your trailer, you can keep in your back tool box in the winter and then take it out for summer. You should also look into either the Milwaukee M12 or M18 tire inflator I keep one in my truck all the time and it has saved me a few times enough for me to get off the highway so I could plug it safely.

Every good trucker caries a broom and a shovel, for when sweeping or scooping up snow, ice, or dirt, to keep their rig clean, so get yourself those items. In my last comment, I said you need a CDL for more options, I didn't know you were studying for your CDL permit, awesome! The company overloading you is absolutely unacceptable! I think its time to get into a big rig, glad your getting your CDL, because its time to get out of Hot Shot, and get into the big leagues, definitely.

It's not 9,000 pounds it's 11,000 pounds. You should have been able to feel that as soon as you started moving. I think you knew but didn't want to believe it.

@@ChantsDailyHustle I have a property maintenance business. I live in Canada and I have the same truck as you but a 2022 SLT. My landscape trailer with both zero turns on it weighs 6,000 pounds and my fully loaded dump trailer weighs 14,000 pounds. The difference is night and day behind my truck. Plus I have a 12,000 pound 5th wheel camper. The fact that you pulled over in the beginning to see if the brakes were dragging should have told you something wasn't right. I never worry about pulling trailers and getting them moving, the part that scares me is stopping them. Most trailers like yours and all of my trailers have crappy drum brakes. Hopefully it all worked out for you. I enjoy your videos.

When you felt that the load was too heavy you should have gone to the closest CAT scale and weighed it. That way you could have taken some of the load back to the shipper. Brokers don't give a rats ass about anyone but themselves. My guess is you may have been charged $1 a pound for your overweight.....

Hate when brokers and shippers get the weights or lengths not even remotely close to what they stated they are. If it’s a little over ok but not to the point where you’ll risk a ticket or worse. Although sometimes it works in your favor. I had one load that was listed as 16’ and 5000lbs. It was 600 lbs if that.
