Glad you enjoyed it Alan. I love Jacks. It is oddly quiet for them at the moment though. That part of the canal was crystal clear as it's a deepend and the tow was heading the other way. Further down it was like chocolate though. The run off from the fields make it very murky. I headed to the clear bit so I could sight fish. Keep plugging away. I'm sure you'll catch. They are still feeding hard

I love Freshwater fishing. I grew up in Wiltshire so it's all a knew for half my life. The fish are so much harder to catch which makes it so much more fun. You should try it. Best place to start is your local tackle shop. They'll know who controls what and which permits you need
